Veteran singer S.Janaki suffers head injury

Veteran singer S. Janaki suffered a head injury after she slipped and fell down in a hotel where she was staying in at Tirupati on Tuesday morning (Feb 7, 2012).  (Feb 7, 2012). 

She was immediately rushed to the Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS) Hospital for treatment and the doctors removed the blood clot. 
The doctors reportedly removed the blood clot and treated the wounded portion with five sutures.

Speaking to reporters at Hospital, her son Murali Krishna said his mother is recovering well. "She is now doing well and her condition is stable," he informed the media. 

S Janaki who resides in Chennai came down to the temple town to witness the marathon concert ‘Sri Annamacharya Sankirtana Yagnam’ performed by her nephew G. Balakrishna Prasad at Mahati auditorium here.
