The wait has been extended abnormally very large for the release of ‘Adhinayakudu.’ Apparently, public has lost the excitement on flick but situation of distributors and exhibitors is more pathetic. As soon as the first trailer of film was released long ago, distributors and exhibitors who have enormous faith on Balayya Babu paid good sums to Producer bagging the area wise theatrical rights. Now that release of ‘Adhinyakudu’ has fallen in doldrums, particularly some of the exhibitors in Andhra Pradesh and Overseas areas are crying with their money struck up.  Business runs as long as there is a flow of goods and money in different directions. ‘Adhinyakudu’ has stalled the precious investments of many exhibitors and producer ML Kumar Chowdary still continues to struggle with release date. Let us wish that, Balakrishna will bail the film out of troubles. As of now, there is unreliable news of 'Adhinayakudu' slated for a release in first week of June.

Most stylish director Vishnuvardhan seems to have bid a good bye to Telugu films with flop result of ‘Panjaa’ but he sure have plans to maintain good relations with Telugu star heroes. That’s the reason why, he is holding talks with Nagarjuna, Raviteja and Jagapathi Babu to play guest roles in his upcoming bi-lingual with Ajith as hero and produced by AM Rathnam of Surya Movies. Other than these, remaining star cast for this untitled flick is Arya, Nayanathara and Tapsee along with Malayalam top star Prithviraj. The list appears perfectly fit to call this project as a multi-lingual - multi-starrer. Producer AM Rathnam is optimistic to announce his grand come back with this high budget venture. ‘I will make an announcement very soon. We are working on various possibilities,’ said AM Rathnam.

Mass Maharaj Ravi Teja's 'Daruvu' movie is all set to release on 25th of this month. As of now, we have thought that everything is finely set for the safe release of the movie on the stipulated date. He takes up burning social issues of current relevance as his story elements…may it be ‘Sindhuram’ or ‘Khadgam’ or ‘Rakhi’ or ‘Mahatma.’ Apparently, he is out of form from last few flicks and is ready to take a shot on corrupt politicos now through new flick titled as ‘Paisa’ starring Nani in lead. Reports say that, KV has attempted to reveal the reasons behind quick rise of Jagan Mohan Reddy and also gone for few potshots at Botsa Satyanarayana for the illicit liquor scam. In particular, the way Jagan amassed immense wealth in short period is thoroughly analyzed by KV without taking the name of YSR except few of his video clips used.  As per the story of ‘Paisa,’ a character is inspired by Jagan and how it dreams to become Chief Minister becomes the pivotal point in story where in Nani plays a young politician. However producer Ramesh Puppala says, ‘there are no real life inspirations in designing the characters of our film. This is a story which projects present political situation in state and few greedy people piling up huge wealth. Nani is not playing any Jagan.’

Balayya to do 'Aditya 369' Sequel

Here is a wonderful news for Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna's fans. Balakrishna is going to do the sequel of 'Aditya 369', which was released in the year,1991. Balakrishna performed dual roles in the movie. In one of these roles, he was seen as King Sri Krishna Devaraaya. His performance was terrific in both the roles.Songs like 'Jaanavule' etc.are unforgettable even today.Although the movie received many accolades from the critics, it stood as an average grosser at the box office. As per the review writers, the director Singeetham Srinivasara handled present and past days extremely well. However, he could not shot well, the scenes which come in future as per the story.  The sequel of 'Aditya 369' will be directed by Singeetham Srinivasa Rao and will be produced by Vinod. This movie will be presented by Konda Krishnam Raju. This movie will go to floors in the month of August. The official announcement of this movie will be made on 10th June, in connection with the birthday of Balakrishna.

'Rachcha' goes for 50 @ 150

'Endukante Premanta' Postponed Again

Energetic Star Ram's 'Endukante Premanta' movie was earlier planned to release on 1st June. In a latest development the movie has been postponed to 8th June. As per the sources close to the film unit, Balakrishna's 'Adhinayakudu' is releasing on 1st June. To avoid clash with that movie, 'Endukante Premanta' was postponed to 8th June.In fact, the movie had to be released on 11th May. However, the movie was postponed then, due to the release of Pawan Kalyan's 'Gabbar Singh'. We have to wait and see whether the makers stick with the new date of release of the movie or not. Milky beauty Tamannah plays the love interest of Ram.G.V.Prakash is scoring the music. Karunakaran is directing this romantic entertainer. Sravanthi  Ravi Kishore is the producer of this film.

Can Karunakaran win like 'Darling'?

‘Endukante Premanta’ is not going to be a regular romantic tale of Karunakaran’s style. Sources state, there is a distinctive thrill weaved with Ghost Concept which would be revealed at Interval Block. Something similar was done by Karunakaran in ‘Darling’ saying that entire first half is just a no-use visualization of Hero while second half connects with main story. That’s the greatness in scripting of Karunkaran which absolutely worked for ‘Darling’ only due to presence of Prabhas. Can Ram do the same magic for ‘EP’ as what Prabhas did for ‘Darling’? Though there can’t be any resemblances between these two flicks its the poetic style of narration which Karunakaran uses in his films with superb montages and sensible humor become value additions only when basic story and script are highly strengthened. So, it depends more on how Karunakaran exploited the love track between Ram and Tamanna which forms core of ‘EP.’ Wish that, new experimentation from this screenplay magician offers him a big success.

Is 'Gabbar Singh' against Pawanism?

Never have we seen a Pawan Kalyan’s movie getting too much into aggressive promotion strategies and producer of the respective film involved in to study of marketing techniques. In fact, heard many times that Pawan never encourages overt publicity of his movies because he strongly believes in acceptance of public to decide the fate of a film and never advocates advertisement. As said earlier, promotion is most important tool for film business but when it comes to facets of Pawanism, the past flicks of Pawan haven’t seen such ballyhoo as what we are witnessing today with ‘Gabbar Singh.’ Not leaving any of the Telugu regional channels, ‘GS’ is everywhere in one form or the other. It might be music director DSP or director Harish Shankar explaining the greatness of their project or a big bundle of trailers continuously played for five to six minutes. Of course, when market verdict for ‘GS’ is unanimously Super Duper Blockbuster, some are questioning why is Ganesh going against Pawanism?  When few of the Power Star Fans are questioned on this, they answered, ‘publicity can be done to an extent where in people are to be informed on positives about the film but public should not be forcibly pulled to theatres. We hope, ‘GS’ is not doing the second.’

Yes, it was Sunny Leone who shocked the cast and crew of ‘Jism 2’ when director Pooja Bhatt called for a red hot bed scene between heroine Sunny and hero Randeep Hooda.  ‘She went shy and uncomfortable for the lovemaking scenes with Randeep. Perhaps, it was the demand as per story and she has to do it. Chemistry between the couple was very good. They supported each other finally to get an aesthetic feel. During the scenes of Sunny to wear bikini, everything went off smoothly,’ said a Bollywood source. Major portion of ‘Jism 2’ is shot in and around the beautiful locales of Darjeeling. Director Pooja Bhatt and her dad Mahesh Bhatt are going something beyond the bold body show of Sunny in this flick which will keep each of us excited till the release.

Now, Film Nagar folks are saying that some of the popular Telugu film producers who has constant eye on neighborhood market are running behind Sundar’s wife Khushbu, producer of ‘Kalakalappu’ to bag the remake rights. Comedy films always have good market in Telugu, whether they might be direct releases or dubbed ones or no matter remakes. ‘Kalakalappu’ has Shiva, Vimal, Anjali, Oviya and Santhanam in lead characters. However, we might get the name of Telugu Producer to remake this subject while Khusbhu, thrilled by this strange success has already announced to go for a sequel of same.

Finally, Harish Shankar has done it and the result is seen even in this second week screening. Understanding the mind set of Fans is not going to be easy and Pawan seems to have taken a very long time in realizing this. ‘Gabbar Singh’ is a pure commercial formula movie made with sole attention to entertain the masses. As trade analysts say, ‘Commercial Formula’ is one Sutra which should not be analyzed or altered but just to be followed with common sense. As Pawan started believing in this formula by accepting Harish, Puri as his directors…Fans are happy and confidently declaring of Pawan will not/cannot see any failures in future. That’s in fact happy to hear but Power Star should take enough care of not falling into the vicious pattern of stereotyped heroism. Hope Pawanism prevails in all his future films.

Nag enquiring about Young Heroine

Nagarjuna remains utmost cautious in selection of heroines for his films. Though into 50’s; Nag makes sure that his romantic partners look young and hot on screen. Now, he is committed to director Veerabhadram and the film happens to be ‘Bhai’ with a proper mass connecting storyline. Currently Nagarjuna is burdened with completion of ‘Shirdi Sai’ and ‘Damarukam.’ As soon these two get wrapped up, he will join the unit of Veerabhadram and Dasarath’s romantic entertainer which will also go on in parallel. If Nayanathara is to be seen as heroine in Dasarath’s film, Nag is heard of enquiring bout Kajal Agarwal for ‘Bhai.’ Like Nag, even Kajal is also occupied with a big bunch of projects in both Telugu and Tamil. So, he relied upon director Bhoopathy Pandiyan and the film is tentatively titled as ‘Jaganmohan IPS’ where in Gopi plays the powerful cop yet again.  The pinnacle power in police character has already been touched by Gopi in past action flicks like ‘Andhrudu, Souryam and Golimaar.’ Now, Bhoopathy has to really work very hard in portraying Gopichand’s role by keeping it more contrasting than above three. Nevertheless, some analysts warn Gopi to come out of this Police Trap and attempt something in new to rebuild his career. This might happen for Gopichand with director Chandrasekhar Yeleti’s project.

Is Gabbar halting 'Daruvu'?

This summer is filled fully with cine colors everywhere in the state. With star heroes queued up for releases, there is strong need of more and more number of screens to cater the demands of producers who concentrate on opening collections. With ‘Rachcha’ doing a fair business in minimum number of theatres nearing to 50 days, ‘Dammu’ of NTR is seen in almost 20 screens alone in Hyderabad even in its fourth week of run. Doesn’t need to specially mention on ‘Gabbar Singh’ which is occupied with nearly 60 screens alone in Hyderabad. Usually, a film of Raviteja gets released in nearly 60 to 70 theatres in city of Hyderabad. Contrastingly, ‘Daruvu’ releasing on 25th of this month has got a count below 55 till now. Of course, there are two more days left but presence of ‘Gabbar Singh’ in maximum number of theatres is halting the intensity and massive release scale of ‘Daruvu.’ Let us see, how many cinema halls will Gabbar keep for himself in third week?

Ramgopal Varma’s latest offering ‘Department’ is a disaster at BO opening the severe differences existing between RGV and his hero cum producer Sanjay Dutt. Now, that film has no chances of revival and whatever invested is lost, RGV and Dutt’s production house are involved in blame game as reported yesterday. Analysts who know the iron will and strong attitude of Varma are surprised by his Twitter posts yesterday.   However, there is some section of media men speculating this dirty fight between RGV and Sanjay Dutt also as a tool devised by RGV for promotion of ‘Department.’ This is how Varma survives each time adhering to some new nuisance techniques of publicity. If such is the case, then one should feel pity for such a talented film maker stooping to lowest levels of dignity. Wish, the fight with in ‘Department’ is real and nothing is dramatized.

Cherry's 'Zanjeer' Look

Mega Power Star Ram Charan's police get up stills from his bollywood debut movie 'Zanjeer' have been leaked on internet. This movie is the remake of a 1973 blockbuster film 'Zanjeer' which starrer Amitabh. This film is touted to be a high voltage action entertainer. Priyanka Chopra was offered Rs.5.5 crores to do the female lead of the project. The first leg of the shoot was already completed in the last month and second schedule is expected to start in the month of June. Apoorva Lakhia is directing this movie while Amit Mehra is producing it. This movie is being made as a bilingual movie and will be released in both Telugu and Hindi versions. Estimated budget of this flick is Rs.70 crores. This movie is set for release in the summer, 2013.

Recently, Chinni Krishna is heard to have visited Mount Everest by a special aircraft to search for locations to his story. It is a known thing that Chinni Krishna has offered stories for super hit movies like 'Narasimha,' 'Narasimha Naidu', 'Indra', 'Gangotri' and 'Badrinath'. Currently, he is working for Omkar's 'Genius' movie.

The Antykashari scene of ‘Gabbar Singh’ where in a group of junior artists imitating other celebrity heroes was well connected to audience in second half of the film. However, the song of ‘Rose Rose…’ of ‘Allari Priyudu’ used as a part of this Antyakshari was treated as an insult due to imitation of Rajasekhar and the following dialogue of ‘Roja Naa…Veedi Koojaa Naa…’ Harish Shankar reacted on this controversy saying. ‘There is no need for me to go for sarcastic comedy even though dealing a commercial mass entertainer. In fact, I respect this song of ‘Rose Rose Roja Puvvaa.’ This was one of best songs ever picturized by great Raghavendra Rao. Hero who acted in this song performed peculiar dance movements which shot to huge popularity in those days. My hero Pawan Kalyan never encourages of criticizing or insulting others. Of course, there is no need for us to spend crores of rupees to insult a Hero. Better critics know the difference between imitation and insult.’ Diverting the issue from view point of insulting Rajasekhar to paying of tributes for Raghavendra Rao can’t be that easily accepted by public.

Can Balayya Defeat Raviteja at least now?

With the confirmation of the release dates of 'Daruvu' and 'Adhinayakudu', some of the strong followers of Balakrishna are worrying about a strange sentiment.As per the sentiment, whenever Balakrishna and Ravi Teja go on face to face competition, Ravi Teja dominates the show, as he proved this fact with resounding hits. His 'Krishna' movie gave a big shock to Balakrishna's 'Okka Magadu' in Pongal, 2008. For Pongal, 2011, Balakrishna's 'Paramaveerachakra' and Ravi Teja's 'Mirapakai' competed each other. Unfortunately, 'Paramaveerachakra' settled as the best flop of the year while Ravi Teja's 'Mirapakai' had a decent run at the box office. Now Ravi Teja's 'Daruvu' is releasing on 25th of this month while Balakrishna's 'Adhinayakudu' is releasing on 1st June. There is a gap of just one week between these two releases. Both the movies seem to have targeted mass audience.Although the supporters of 'Daruvu' and 'Adhinayakudu' are wishing their heroes movies to be the winners, the well wishers of tollywood and the trade people are hoping that both the movies would be the true winners of box office. From scene one till the climax, Rajini has thoroughly enjoyed Power Star’s performance. He went on commending the energy of Pawan Kalyan and declared the film as the best mass entertainers of recent times. Distributor is also known to have called the cabin operator for repeat few scenes which Rajini wanted to watch once more. ‘Gabbar Singh’ is declared the blockbuster even in Tamil Nadu despite ‘Osthe’ was just an average performer. Now, Power Star would readily obilige these blessings from Super Star.

Petrol Price Hiked to Stop Rupee Slide

As the value of indian rupee started to further weaken by falling to Rs.56 against a dollar, Indian Government has gone for stringent measure. In order to control the rupee depreciation thus leading in a big jump of oil import bill, our Petroleum Minister Jaipal Reddy has called for an immediate hike of Rs.7.50 per litre of petrol. This would take the price of litre petrol on Chennai zone to Rs.77. These rates will come into influence from midnight today. Last time, Government had an increase in petrol price on November 4 last year. ‘If rupee depreciates by one against US dollar, our oil companies lose Rs.8, 000 Crores annually. So, price increase is very essential,’ Reddy said to reporters. Folks, get ready for one more pocket holing monthly bill…!

One More Multi Starrer 'Twist'

Looks like, good days are back in Tollywood as we are witnessing a flood of multi starrer flicks taking shape. Firstly ‘SVSC’ followed by ‘UKUP’ and now Sunil, Naga Chaitanya’s ‘Vettai’ remake. Freshly one more film titled ‘Twist’ is to start in June with Varun Sandesh and Sumanth as leads while Rezina of ‘SMS’ fame is finalized as one of the heroines by director Sasi Sudigala. ‘For the very first time, we are touching the con caper kind of a subject. Sasi Sudigala is a protégé of famous Bollywood director Nagesh Kukunoor and is also a pass out from New York Film School. Earlier, Sasi directed ‘Cycle Kick on the banner of Subash Ghai. Along with Varun Sandesh and Sumanth, two more heroes will act in ‘Twist.’ Cinematography will be provided by Gnana Sekhar and editing by Sravan Katikaneni while a top music director will be roped to compose the tunes,’ as said by producers NM Pasha, Nagarjuna Reddy and Akanksha Khanna.

There are at times, some of the heroines get a rare opportunity to pair up with both father and son. Some decades ago, we saw this rare feat with the heroines like Sridevi and Radha. Both of these heroines paired up with Akkineni Nageswara Rao and his son Nagarjuna in different movies. This movie would go to floors soon.Having accepted to do this movie, Kajal has got such a rare opportunity to act with both father(Nagarjuna) and the son(Naga Chaitanya).

Mahesh Warns Dil Raju

Prince Mahesh Babu has reportedly cautioned producer Dil Raju to wrap up the shooting of 'Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu' by the month end of August. The scheduled release date of the movie is 28th September. Unless the movie gets finished its shoot by August, the movie may not be released in this year. As Mahesh has bulky dates for his other projects, he cannot allot the dates for SVSC from September. This situation forced the prince to warn Dil Raju to complete the movie's shoot by August. However,sources say this is not that much easier as the movie contains maximum number of star cast. Anjali and Samantha are doing the female leads of the movie. Venkatesh and Mahesh Babu will be seen as brothers in this movie while Prakash Raj and Jayasudha are doing their parents roles. Micky J.Meyer is composing the tunes of this family entertainer. Srikanth Addala is directing this movie and Dil Raju is at producer job.

Prabhudeva repents for 'Nayana Maya'

Running behind the beauty of Nayanathara, noted choreographer cum actor cum director Prabhudeva has suffered many personal losses inclusive of divorcing his wife Ramlath and psychological torture of his children Rishi Raghavendra and Aadi. Never late than ever, Prabhu has totally come out of ‘Nayana Maya’ and is spending enough time in the company of his kids. During an interview, Prabhu shared his feelings openly. ‘I always wanted to be a good father. The precious time which I spend with my children is priceless. I’ve realized the fact and ready to take up my responsibilities as a father,’ said Prabhudeva. In fact, Rishi and Aadi stayed with him during the recent shoot of ‘Rowdy Rathore’ in Mumbai. On the other side, Nayanathara is also trying to forget her past by getting busy with professional commitments.

'Gabbar Singh' Ka Nishana

Julaayi Vs Rebel

Both the heroes have huge following among the public. Co-incidentally, their movies were released long back. Maybe because of this reason, fans of both these heroes are eagerly waiting for their movies. We are talking about rebel star prabhas and Stylish Star Allu Arjun.  Prabhas's Mr Perfects was released on 22nd April, 2011. There after, no movie of him was released. His previous movie ' Darling ' was also proved to be a decent hit at the box office. If 'Rebel' becomes a hit movie, Prabhas will get the status of a hat-trick hero. That's why many of the trade sources are eagerly awaiting his movie's release. As per the available reports, the movie would be released on 6th July. On the other hand, Allu Arjun's previous movie 'Badrinadh' was released on 10th June, 2011 and got the status of above average at the box office. He barely needs a hit movie at this juncture. His 'Julaayi'  movie is expected to be released in the month of July. If it happens, we will witness the clash of  two young heroes in the same month. Let us watch this interesting battle.However, hope, both of  them will be the winners of this battle.

Forget about ‘Ram Babu’ with Puri Jagannath or the unnamed flick with Trivikram Srinivas, need of the hour is everyone wants Power Star to be totally at variance. Now, we hear of Pawan Kalyan’s catchy one-liner ‘Naakkonchem Thikkundi…Kaanee Daaniko Lekkundi’ gone to Tamil Nadu and Aravam masses translated the same into Tamil to enjoy the kick. As already mentioned, this dialogue was written by Harish Shankar after closely observing the natural style of Pawan is actually inspired from Puri’s line for Nagarjuna in ‘Shivamani’ that goes like ‘Naa Peru Shivamani…Kaankkonchem Mental’ or the same Puri penned for Brahmi in ‘Neninthe’ that is ‘Nenu Entha Edavano Naake Theliyadu.’ The range of ‘GS’ dialogue has gone miles over the other two. Why? Right Combinations always give Right Results. Even though, the dialogues of ‘Shivamani’ and ‘Nenithe’ have got many appreciations but none could get the mass acceptance and feverishness like ‘GS.’ That is why, a hit ‘gabbar singh’ has beget that particular ‘Thikka’ line notorious while the flop/average run of ‘Shivamani’ and ‘Nenithe’ made the same intense lines faded in short time. Openly speaking, the ‘GS’ verse could have not clicked to this scale if result of movie was less than a blockbuster. So, a Hit film always leaves more unforgettable memories than the flop ones.
