Shruti Hassan Learns Telugu on Location

Shruti Hassan who is currently busy shooting for her forthcoming film Gabbar Singh is turning her fantasy in to reality these days. The actress has a fascination to learn Telugu language and also expressed the same in her past interviews as well. Perhaps, Shruti feels no better time than now to learn the language on the sets of Gabbar Singh. It is learnt that the actress is learning the language through a book titled "Learn Telugu in 4 days". And that's not all, the pretty lass is also suggesting the people around her to learn the language through this book. Few days ago, the actress stated that she loves Hyderabad alot and wants to settle down here it seems. Now it looks like she is cleverly turning the things on with these kind of stuff. Hmmm...Long way to go girl!!

Allu Arjun on his Bollywood Entry

Stylish star Allu Arjun responded to reports about his Bollywood entry as reported by certain of media. The fourth estate is abuzz with reports that the star hero would be foraying into Bollywood, possibly through in Yash Raj Films. However, Allu Arjun denied all reports saying that he’s waiting for a great script that can movie him. Allu Arjun says “I got some offers, including some from Yash Raj Films, but I want something fascinating that will force me to move out of my comfort zone. A kind of experimental role could tempt me”.  The actor is currently busy working for Trivikram film co-starring Ileana.

Mahesh Babu is not a Lecturer

Looks like Prince Mahesh Babu is certainly not playing the role of a lecturer, as buzzed, in his upcoming movie directed by Sukumar. Fresh reports from production hands say that Mahesh Babu is not essaying the role of a professor but his role would be pretty unique comparatively to his earlier movies. Mahesh Babu was so far seen as a cop, undercover cop, lover boy, etc. and is now looking for some role change. Perhaps Sukumar’s movie could well the one he’s looking for. Mahesh Babu and Sukumar’s combo movie would start shooting in March and Tamanna is playing the female lead.

Ram Charan Racha Release Date in April

Ram Charan’s upcoming action entertainer Rachca’s release date has now been pushed to April. Latest update from the insiders say that the makers are planning to release Raccha movie by the first week of April and not in March as scheduled earlier. While the reason for this postponement is not known, we presume that the makers have taken this decision to ensure that Rachcha does not clash with Gabbar Singh. Moreover, Ram Charan did not have any release in 2011 and he wants to make sure that there aren’t too many obstacles.

NTR Action Movie Launch on Feb 2

Young tiger Jr. NTR’s new movie ‘Action’ would be launched on February 2 it seems. The film is directed by Seenu Vaitla and produced by Bandla Ganesh Babu under Parameswara Arts banner. The regular shooting of the movie will start later in March, 2012. Action movie comes with a tagline ‘with Entertainment’. Thaman who worked for Srinu Vaitla’s earlier movie Dookudu will also work for this Action movie. And Kajal Agarwal will be pairing up with NTR once again after Brindavanam. The makers initially tried to rope in Samantha but she could not accommodate her dates.

Puri Jagannadh announces film with Pawan

Puri Jagannadh announces another film. He said he would be directing his first hero Pawan Kalyan. "And finally it is happening. I met Pawan Kalyan and this time we are starting the film pretty soon, " he said.

Puri Jagannadh made debut with Pawan starrer Badri (2000) and later he went to make several blockbusters but never teamed up again with Pawan Kalyan. Though several times, there was news about this combination last year but it didn't take place. It seems they are finally coming together again.

Interestingly, Puri also announced several films including - a sequel to his recent Mahesh Babu starrer Businessman and remake of the same film in Hindi. And there is a movie with Ravi Teja that would go to sets from April. He is also committed to do a film with NTR.

Will make 'Businessman 2': Puri announces

Puri Jagannadh directed Mahesh Babu starrer Businessman is now running in theaters. As the film stormed box-office with good openings, Puri Jagannadh has announced that he's planning to make Businessman 2 .

"Will make sequel to the movie with Mahesh Babu as hero. And I might start this by this year end itself," he told to a news channel.

Businessman received mixed reviews and divided talk but true to its title, the film's business good. So Mahesh Babu, Puri Jagannadh and producer R Venkat are happy with the outcome.

Sunil Kumar Reddy's next: Romantic Crime Katha

Director P Sunil Kumar Reddy won several Nandi awards for his films (Sontha Ooru and Gangaputrulu) and his movies also featured in film festivals. Known for realistic movies, P Sunil Kumar Reddy is now making a thriller titled Oka Romantic Crime Katha.

"With the advent of technology, today's youth are entangled in the web of love, sex and crime. Under age sex and teenage abortions have become routine too. So my film revolves around three young girls. This film will have message but told in more entertaining way," Sunil Kumar Reddy said.

Being produced by Yekkali Ravindra Babu, the film has already completed most of the shooting part. Newcomers Manoj Nandam, Sai Anil, Gayatri, Divya Swapna, Babi are playing the lead roles.

Prakash Raj's Dhoni trailer gets good response

First theatrical trailer of actor Prakash Raj's directorial venture, Dhoni, is out. The movie trailers are now being screened in all the theatres across Andhra Pradesh. Prakash Raj, who produces and directs the movie, said response for the trailer is extremely positive. Elated with the response, Prakash Raj is planning to launch the movie's audio next week. Maestro Ilayaraja has scored the music and S P Balasubramaniam, Ilayaraja and Shreya Ghoshal sang the numbers penned by Sirivennala Sitarama Sasthry.

The film is about a middle class guy who wants his son to excel in studies while the song aspires to become a cricketer like Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

Puri Jagannadh's son Aakash plays the role of Prakash Raj's son whose passion is cricket. And Radhika Apte is playing female lead.

Aamir Khan to attend 'Snehitudu' audio launch

Shankar directed Snehitudu , Telugu dubbed version of his Tamil film Nanban , starring Vijay and Ileana, will have its music launch on January 19th at Shilpakala Vedhika in Hyderabad. Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan is agreed to participate in the audio launch ceremony, sources informed us.

As Aamir Khan starred in the original movie, 3 Idiots , director Shankar and producers Gemini Film Circuit requested him to join the celebrations and he reportedly said yes immediately. Snehitudu is remake of 3 Idiots.

Along with the film's cast and crew including Vijay, Ileana, Jiva, Srikanth, director Shankar, music director Harris Jayaraj, bigwig Tollywood celebrities are also expected to attend the function.

This is the first time that Shankar is releasing his film in Telugu after the release of the Tamil version. Leaving aside his first film Gentleman, all his movies had simultaneous release in Tamil and Telugu as he is a big brand in Andhra Pradesh market.

Nanban , the Tamil version, was released on Jan 12, 2012.

Love Failure to release on Feb 14th

Siddharth’s new film "Love Failure" is getting ready for its release on February 14 on Valentine’s Day. The film Love Failure is a bilingual, it is being made in Tamil and is dubbed into Telugu. The dubbing rights for the Telugu version film were acquired by producer Dil Raju. Amala Paul is playing the female lead role in this film.


The film is said to be a youthful love entertainer, so that film makers are planning to release on February 14 on Valentine’s Day.

The film is being directed by a new debutant director Balaji Mohan.Sashikanth is the producer and actor Siddharth and the film’s cinematographer Nirav Sha are co-producers for the film.They are producing this film on Y Not Studios banner. SS Thaman is composing the music for this film.

The film will be released in both Tamil and Telugu versions on February 14th!

Gabbar Singh Hyderabad schedule completed!

Power star Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming film "Gabbar Singh" shooting is progressing in and around Hyderabad from a while, and it has completed its current shooting schedule on Yesterday in Hyderabad. The film unit have choreographed an interval action sequence of the film in the supervision of fight masters Ram – Lakshman. The next schedule of the film will starts soon. Sruthi Hassan is playing the female lead role in this film.
Gabbar Singh is the remake of the Hindi Super Hit film ‘Dabangg’. Gabbar singh is being directed by Harish Shankar and produced by Ganesh Babu under Parameswara Arts banner. Devisri Prasad is composing the music for this film.

Aamir Khan coming for Snehithudu!

Telugu film Snehithudu audio is all set for a grand launch on tomorrow (January 19th, 2012) at Shilpakala Vedhika in Hyderabad.Snehithudu is a dubbed version of Tamil film Nanban, which is a remake of Bollywood hit film 3-Idiots. Vijay, Jeeva, Srikanth and Ileana played the lead roles in this film.

In original version (3 Idiots), Aamir Khan played the lead roles. Now the latest buzz is that Bollywood actor Aamir Khan is going to attend the audio launch event of Snehithudu.As per the sources director Shankar and producers Gemini Film Circuit have requested Aamir Khan to attend the music launch and he reportedly agreed.

Several Tollywood celebrities are going to attend the audio launch event along with the film's cast and crew. The Tamil version film Nanban was released on Jan 12, 2012. Soon the Telugu version film, Snehithudu is going to hit the big screens.

Sonu Sood not remaking ‘Appadi Podu’ song!

There was a news that actor Sonu Sood is working on the remake of Tamil hit song “Appadi Podu" for his home production movie “Lucky Unlucky” .Now he has denied the news and said that the rights are with Bollywood star Akshay Kumar.
"Hi, All the stories of me doing the ’apdi pode’ song for ’Lucky Unlucky’ are not true. The rights are with Akshay Kumar for his home production. Will really look forward to it, I am sure he will rock," he posted on Twitter.

’Lucky Unlucky’ is an upcoming comedy-action film and Sonu Sood is producing this film on his ’Sonu Sood Productions’ banner.Sonu Sood is also acting this film while Mallika Sherawat is the leading lady in the film.

Tanikella Bharani’s Mithunam!

Director Puri Jagannadh, who is riding high with the success of his recently released film "Businessman" and he praised his hero Mahesh babu for his marvelous performance,co-operation and said that Mahesh deserves most of the credit for the success of the film.The film’s punch dialogues are turned big hit and movie got good response from the audience. Now the latest news is that director Puri Jagannadh has decided to bring the Businessman’s film script along with the pictures in the form of a Book.

While speaking to media Puri said that "My team is currently working on this book which might be hit the book stores with in a month.I have always wanted to do some thing like this, when I was young, I read a similar book on the film ‘Thoti Kodallu’, which is used a lot for me and I learned how to write a script through that book. I hope this Businessman’s book will be a useful for many film enthusiasts".

Puri is also planning to start the sequel of ’Businessman’ before end of this year and soon he is going to remake the ’Businessman’ movie in Hindi Version.

Nippu shooting completed!

Raviteja and Deeksha Seth starrer upcoming film "Nippu" has completed the entire shooting part and the movie is gearing up for its release on February 2nd. Recentlly the film unit was shot a ’Mojare Mojare’ song on lead characters of the film under the supervision of Raju Sundaram master. For this song the film unit was erected a massive set in Annapurna Studios, Hyderabad. With that the film has wrapped up its shooting part.
The film is said to be a commercial action entertainer and it is being directed by Gunasekhar.Y.V.S.Chowdhary is the producer and Thaman is the music director for this film.

Dr. Rajendra Prasad is playing an important character in the film. Brahmanandam, Krishnudu, Pradeep Rawath, Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam and Brahmaji are playing the other lead roles of the film.
