Whose on For 'Mirchi' Remake?

One more formula movie in Tollywood is raking good collections at BO. 'mirchi' is again surviving on the power of stardom and Prabhas could be the first man to enjoy this positive commercial response after a severe blow of 'Rebel.' When ever we have a god hit in Telugu...all the eyes starting from neighborhood Chennai to distant Mumbai fall upon the subject. Inner reports from film circles say that none other than Salman Khan is taking a look at the macho action of Prabhas and the script of Koratala Siva to analyse on the possibilities of remaking the same in Hindi.

There is loads of action and sweet romance of hero with two hot heroines in 'mirchi.' So, the same formula can even be a better option to suit the tastes of Tamil audience. Yet, it is to be seen who will come forward from Tamil Nadu to take in this old spice.

Director Made Trisha To Do That

In the long span of career acting besides all top heroes, Trisha is restricted only to glamor roles. In fact, the beautiful actress has also maintained good constraints in exposing and never do we see vulgarity from her side. Away from all these, for the first time Trisha is doing some high voltage action episodes for 'rum' of MS Raju. Initially, neither Trisha nor the producer-director were ready to disclose the details of movie. As the shoot is progressing now in Dubai, Trisha is pouring the excitement on social networking describing the attempts of her daredevil stunts. 'My first action sequence ever. I am thrilled. Although the shots are risky, I have not rehearsed any stunts so far. Vijayan master is helping me on sets to ensure that I perform well. It is a refreshingly different experience. Day1-Action begins...Vijayan master on a roll.. Swerving cars twisty lanes and me at the wheel...Phew phew,' Trisha says.

That is Bellamkonda Suresh

More than securing the hits and flops, producer bellamkonda suresh is developing a strong brand of own by promoting his son Sai Srinivas as hero in the direction of VV Vinayak. Apart from 'Jabardast' getting ready for a release in next one to two weeks, there are three new ventures of Bellamkonda ready to gon sets in three days starting from February 13. This is a strong coincidence which also shows the excellent planning sense of Bellamkonda. On February 13, we are to see Junior NTR and Santosh Srinivas flick 'Rabhasa' to begin the shoot. On February 14, it is Manchu Manoj and G. Nageshwar Reddy's entertainer to have the muhurat. Then on the following day of 15th, Bellamkonda's son Sai Srinivas and VV Vinayak's untitled action project will take off. In less thana week from then, 'Jabardast' will hit the screens on February 22. Great going Bellamkonda Sir...

Now, 'Mirchi' into Contorversy

Looks like, every film in Tollywood has got its own share of controversies...may it be a commercial or artistic flick. In the recent past, we have witnssed 'Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu, Denikaina Ready, A Woman in Brahmanism, Bus Stop' getting deep buried in one or the other form of troubles. Now, the fresh news is about 'Mirchi' starring prabhas and Anushka in leads under the direction of Koratala Siva is entangled in a controversy with a protest led by Arekatika Porata Samithi.

Agitators attacked the main theater of Sandhya in RTC Cross Roads protesting against the penning of words like like Katika and Kasayi by writer cum director Siva. Although Police intervened in middle to disperse the crowds, the protesters called this as an insult for their community and work. They demanded producer to immediately chop off those words before the matter gets worse. Let us see, will this issue end here or becomes a headache to makers.

Who is Excited More With 'Mirchi'?

While prabhas could be man to enjoy the success of 'Mirchi' to the most along with debutatnt director Koratala Siva, one more man who is feeling so happy with it is film maker SS Rajamouli. Yes, directing a star hero who is just arriving with a strong hit always gives a positive energy. When the budget of 'Baahubali' and its multi lingual nature is taken into account, Jakkanna and his team will be upbeat with prabhas coming back into his best form with a mass hit like 'Mirchi.' In the same flow, Rajamouli has left on location hunting and is traversing through Satya Mangalam forest areas to find deadly places where action scenes will be shot on Rana and prabhas. As script works are into final stages, music director Keeravani expressed his anxiety to begin the work for 'Baahubali.' So, 'Mirchi' has really set in the good pitch for prabhas's next.

'Mirchi' Effect on Bandla Ganesh

The hurriedness shown by producer bandla ganesh babu to reserve Koratala Siva as director for his next production venture with Ramcharan as hero seems to have invited the attention of Income Tax Officers. While, Ganesh Babu's existing venture of 'Baadshah' is shaking the trade pundits for risking almost Rs.50 Crores of budget on Junior NTR, there is also 'Iddaru Ammayilatho' of Puri Jagannath with Allu Arjun also made on a decent budget. If Rs. 80 to 85 Crores is the least spending we anticiupate from Ganesh on these two, the official announcement of Ramcharan-Koratala Siva venture yesterday has welcomed Income Tax sleuths to attack the mighty producer's house and office today. Sources say that, Ganesh just wanted to cash upon Koratala Siva's winning fame of 'Mirchi' to add some excitement and momentum to his new project. But, this one has misfired and the effect was adverse.

Young Hero's D-Bond with Anushka

The sturdy personalities of Daggubati Rana and anushka are getting great recognition in the film community. When both of them are seen independently, they are just awesome. If such tall and solidly built actors join hands to fill the big screen with their presence, we expect excellent and authentic chemistry to work out. Yes, we are to see Rana to getting into a Double Bond with anushka with the two projects of 'Rani Rudramadevi' and 'Baahubali.' If one is the historic representation of Kakatiya dynasty from the view point of Gunasekhar, the other is a folk story format of unbeaten director Rajamouli. While 'Baahubali' has got the starcast fixed some time ago, now Rana is the new entry into 'Rani Rudrama Devi' playing the character of a Chalukya King. Apparently, Rana is quite engaged with pre-production training sessions getting himself ready n fit for both the roles. Great going Rana.

Dasari Appreciated Cherry?

It is a common thing that whenever Dasari speaks, his tongue slips. He usually criticizes the heroes from the mega family. More particularly, he targets Ram Charan. He was the chief guest of one of the movie functions recently. He as usually made a comment on Ram Charan. Strangely, it appeared rather an appreciation than the criticism.  As per Dasari's comment, "TELUGU CINEMA IPPUDU RECORDING DANCE LA CHUTTOO TIRUGUTHUNDI". Let us adopt this dialogue to Ram Charan. Dasari indirectly said Ram Charan does recording dance lu. And Telugu cinema is revolving around him. That means, Telugu cinema has accepted Ram Charan as the best. Finally, Dasari's advisers say before criticizing anybody, he has to check it twice whether it is a criticism or a blessing.

No Compensation Please

Telugu audience and distributors have lost the trust on maniratnam films from some time. Although, he is a wonderful technician who can make audience spellbound with special story telling formats and extraordinary technical skills, current trend in Telugu films is domainated more by entertainment zone. So, 'Kadali' is for sure a mis-fit and no wonders the movie too flopped like a disaster sinking with no trace in just one week. However, the movie faring very weak even in Tamil Nadu has come like a shocker for many. Having got the distribution and exhibition rights of 'Kadal' for whopping prices just depending on the brand of Mani, nowthey are to see almost 70 to 80% of loss in their investments. When such distributors approached Mani for compensation, the director has put it straight that he is no way responsible as the project was sold to other big parties on MG. Now, there is no way left and distributors have to bear the brunt.

Pawan Kalyan Multi Mega Starrer Film

Writer turned Director Koratala Siva has a bunch of real good subjects to test on star heroes as his mettle is now proved with 'Mirchi.' Entering into big league with this commercial hit, top producers and top heroes are queued up for his dates. As reported earlier, Bandla Ganesh Babu of Parameshwara Arts has paid the advance to Siva for his second assignment and the ground work has already begun. Meanwhile, the Income Tax attacks on Ganesh Babu aren't expected actually.  Latest we hear from our close media sources is Siva-Ganesh combination will be a pawan kalyan-Ramcharan multi starrer and is expected to go on sets by second half of 2013. Although, Ramcharan is unofficially announced as hero of this venture by media friends but the name of pawan kalyan is hidden. Film nagar sources are murmuring alot on this powerful flick while Siva having enjoyed a bit with 'Mirchi' success is on with multi mega starrer script work. Two Movies - One Time Agreement

In the long span of kamal hasan's career as an actor, director and producer, never did he face such heat as what was experienced in the case of 'Vishwaroopam.' Made on a budget of nearly Rs.100 Crores, finally it is faring well all over India and abroad ranking extra ordinary collections. However, Kamal has took enough care while negotiating with Muslim religious group heads not to see any hurdles for the sequel of 'Vishwaroopam 2.' The agreement made will be valid both for first and second parts.  'As the movie is doing fine after many hiccups, I am happy to announce the sequel. 'Vishwaroopam 2' will be launched in next few days and will release with in this year or for the most by year end. I would ensure of no delays in release of this new film because I am preparing the ground for a while,' Kamal said. Wish that, 'Vishwaroopam 2' will stand upto the raised quality bar of 'Vishwaroopam.'

Mahesh Babu Fans Begin to Shiver

101% sure...Mahesh Babu is the best and most handsome hero of Tollywood who can mesmerize ladies and pull them to theatres even on first day of release. But, he seems to have struck with the same image from long time with no improvement in mass following. The recent release of 'Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu' has further made a strong inference that Mahesh is Magent to attract Ladies and his Mania is on all-time top. However, entry of prabhas has changed the calculation. Huge turnouts of ladies (especially college going young batches) at 'Mirchi' theatres and tickets teared off in bunches show that prabhas is all set to become a strong contender for Mahesh Babu in near future with both these heroes fighting in same audience zone. Luckily, masses seems to have liked the movie and the Fan following of Prabhas has come to light saving this project by a big way. Even now, one does not know what is actual budget of 'mirchi' but positive weekend collections are sure to keep distributors and exhibitors in profits. 'I kept on warning my close friend Vamsi and cousin Pramod not to risk anything more than my market stamina. But, they have gone for a lavish spending to give a rich look. They have released on deficit,' Prabhas said before the release. Now, 'mirchi' has saved both friend and family members of Prabhas.
