Director Selvaraghvan blessed with a Baby Girl!
Director Selvaraghvan got married with Geetanjali in July 2011 , after divorcing his first wife actress Sonia Agarwal(7G Brindavan Colony heroine). Now the latest news is that Selvaraghavan and his wife Geethajanli were blessed with a baby girl on yesterday in Chennai.
Selvaraghvan got fame in Tolyywod with the film ’7/G Brundavan colony’,after that he made films like Adavari Matalaku Ardhalu Verule and couple of bilingual movies.He is also a brother of Kolavari Di fame hero Dhanush.
Director Selvaraghvan’s Tamil film Mayakkam Enna starring Dhanush and Richa was released recently and it is a hit film in Tamilnadu.Presently he is directing a bilingual film titled Irandam Ulagam starring Arya and Anushka.
The Power of NTR Dammu
Young tiger Jr. NTR is certainly showing his Dammu as his latest movie is doing unbelievable business. Reports say that the star hero’s upcoming Telugu movie Dammu is doing great business as the movie is coming with umpteen expectations. Already Dil Raju bought Dammu Nizam rights for 9 crores while Koduru Madhu acquired the Ceeded rights for an incredible 8 crores. Krishna, Guntur and Nellore districts were bagged by Prasad for 7 crores and East Godavari rights were pocketed by Gayatri Films and two others for 2.07crores. West Godavari rights were sold for 1.90 crores and the business is currently on for Uttarandhra. However, buzz is that the producer would release directly either through Venkateswara Creations (Dil Raju) or Kranti pictures.
Naga Chaitanya in Chanchalguda Jail
Naga Chaitanya’s upcoming movie Autonagar Surya is currently being shot in Chanchalguda Central Jail in Hyderabad. Autonagar Surya unit is filming some scenes in the Jail and Naga Chaitanya is seen sporting a tee with 203 number on it…rather interestingly. Autonagar Surya film is an action entertainer set in the backdrop of trade unions in Vijayawada. The film is about a ‘nobody’ who grows into everybody’s identity. Samantha is playing female lead opposite Naga Chaitanya for the second time after Ye Maya Chesave. The movie is directed by Deva Katta and produced by K Atchi Reddy under Max India banner and RR Movie Makers are presenting the movie. Anup Rubens is scoring the music.
Varalakshmi in Gauravam Movie
Tamil Superstar Sarath Kumar's daughter Varalakshmi is being tipped to play the female lead opposite Naga Chaitanya in Radha Mohan's bilingual movie Gauravam. Talks are currently on as the makers are about to finalize the heroine for Gauravam movie, and its being buzzed that Varalakshmi is likely to play the female lead. But let’s await the official confirmation! SS Thaman is scoring the music while Tanikella Bharani is penning dialogues. Meanwhile Naga Chaitanya had participated in the costume trail photo shoot session yesterday and the makers are planning to revised few outfits for another session.

Mega power star Ram Charan Teja made a strange confession during the audio launch of ‘Snehitudu’, the dubbed version of Nanban (Tamil remake of Bollywood blockbuster 3 idiots). Ram Charan Tej was one of the star attractions for the Snehitudu audio launch, which was held yesterday (Jan 19) at Shilpa Kala Vedika, Hyderabad. Speaking on the occasion, Ram Charan said, “Director Rajkumar Hirani screened 3 idiots for me much before it was made in Hindi. But I thought someone of Aamir Khan’s calibre can do this film rather me since these are my early days in the industry.” The actor wished the team good luck for the entire team and signed off. Now isn’t that an honest confession?
Bhakta Kannapa Remake with Prabhas
Yesteryear actor Krishnam Raju said that he would like to remake ‘Bhakta Kannapa’ with Prabhas. Bhakta Kannapa is a 1976 classic starring Krishnam Raju and Vanisree and directed by Bapu. Speaking on the occasion of his birthday, the actor said, “I liked the way Lawrence etched my character in Rebel. My next step will be to wield the megaphone on the concept of growing corruption in the society. The movie not only points out the problems but also addresses it.”
Expounding Prabhas, Krishnam Raju said that he was pretty contended with the way the young rebel star is doing. “I think his career has progressed well than I expected. So I want to remake my favourite movie Bhakta Kannapa with Prabhas but let’s see how things work out”, says Krishnam Raju.

Megastar Chranjeevi’’s yesteryear classic song ‘Vaana Vaana Vellu Vaye’ song is been remade in this movie on Ram Charan and Tamanna.
