Superb!   He tweeted, ‘USA total could be higher than what's reported [$ 577,090], since the collections are of *reported screens* only. Point to be noted is that Gabbar Singh *reported screens* in USA are half or 1/3rd of those Hindi biggies, yet the total will be bigger.’ Top USA opening weekend collection Bollywood movies are:  1. DesiBoyz - $ 702,325 [5 dy] 2. EMAET - $ 637,100 3. Rockstar - $612,235,  4. AgentVinod - $ 427,043. Now, 'Gabbar Singh' will cross all. Harish Shankar Positive Satire on 'Eega'

SS Rajamouli has openly admitted his secret admiration for Pawan Kalyan. Time hasn’t ripe but a film in combination of these two would be possible very soon. One can’t understand whether it was a calculatedly taken move or consciously made positive satirical attack by Harish Shankar on ‘Eega,’ however one scene in ‘gabbar singh’ where Pawan Kalyan after the introduction fight brings back the looted money to distribute among the Kondvaeedu dwellers. The dialogue here goes like, ‘Eega Vaalithe MEERU Chusukondi…Inkaa Edaina Vaalithe NENU Chusukuntaa.’ Yes, one release that could possibly affect the BO range of ‘gabbar singh’ is only and only ‘Eega.’ If such is the case, the dialogue could be interpreted in this indisputable manner. Power Fans & General Audience (MEERU) should not mind watching Rajamouli's film 'Eega' even though 'gabbar singh' is running in opposite theatres. While, Pawan himself or his mere Powerful Image (NENU) would take care of all those remaining new releases which can't influence the amplitude of 'gabbar singh.' That's a sportive analysis which infact shows, how Harish holds high regards towards Rajamouli & 'Eega.'

Rajamouli to Surpass those Heroes

Ace director s.s.rajamouli is going to set a new record of tollywood that no other hero of tollywood set till date. His 'Eega' movie is going to be released in four languages and they are 'Telugu', 'Tamil', 'Malayalam' and 'Hindi'. Recently, some of the heroes tried to get their movies to be released in other language versions as well. However, their plans couldn't work out well. Meanwhile, Ram Charan's 'Rachcha' was released in three versions like, 'Telugu', 'Tamil' and 'Malayalam'. Now, 'Eega' is likely to surpass 'Rachcha's record.  Going by the details of current situation of the movie, 'Eega', the movie will go for censor on 21st of this month. Samantha, Nani and Sudeep are the leading star cast of the movie. Keeravani rendered the music of the film. The makers are trying hard to release the movie on 30th of this month.

2012, A Golden year for T-Wood!

When we call it a day at the end of every year, film critics, in general, opine that the particular year has been a big failure for tollywood with a poor success rate. We have been hearing the same analyses from the critics every year without any change in their opinions.  Perhaps, the analysts might change their views this year as it seems this year is going to register many solid hits. As far as the movies so far released are concerned, 'gabbar singh' appears to be the new industry hit of tollywood based on its collection trend. 'Rachcha' and 'Businessman' were proved to be the blockbuster and super hit statuses respectively. Young Tiger NTR's 'Dammu', despite its divided talk on its the first day of its release, the movie managed to earn average collections at the box office. Venkatesh's 'Bodyguard' has also done average business. Coming to the small budget movies, 'Ee Rojullo' did a miracle of earning Rs.10 crores with a shoestring budget of Rs.60 lakhs. Nitin has got a new life through his super hit movie, 'Ishq'. Let's hope, all the forthcoming movies will also do well at the box office and should prove year, 2012, is the golden year of tollywood.

'GS' Nizam Dhamaka

Power Star pawan kalyan's 'Gabbar Singh' movie is on its way surpassing the previous records of all the areas. However, especially,in Nizam area the impact of 'Gabbar Singh' seems to have gone mad. At the end of its three days run, the movie has collected Rs.6 crores share and the first week share of this area is expected to be around Rs.9.5 to 10 crores. The difference of first week shares of 'GS'  and previous record movie 'Rachcha' is going to be more than 2 crores.This is said to be a phenomenal record.  On the other hand, the movie is still  running in 71 screens in Hyderabad city on its 4th day. Surprisingly, all the screens registered house fulls, a never seen feat created by pawan kalyan. "Earlier, pawan kalyan was considered to be the king of Nizam and it is proved now.", say the trade sources.

Do Chiru have any link with 35 Crores?

Income Tax Department raids on the houses of chiranjeevi’s relatives cum industrialist Shiva Prasad Rao and Nanda Gopal in Chennai was breaking news. Today, the IT Sleuths have released an official Press Note regarding this raid onchiranjeevi’s daughter Sushmita’s residence. As per the Note, the search resulted in unearthing of cash of Rs.35 Crores that was found kept in a bedroom in a house at Chennai. The cash was found neatly packed in 35 carton boxes with each containing Rs.1 Crore in denominations of Rs.500 and Rs.1000. In all, the total cash seizure was Rs.35.66 Crores. Besides the cash, promissory notes worth Rs.4 Crores were also seized. The total seizure of assets was Rs.39.66 Crores which is actually the unaccounted income. Sushmita is wife of Vishnu Prasad, who is the son of Shiva Prasad. Media questioned chiranjeevi on any sort of his connection with this cash. He answered, ‘all the allegations coming on me are politically motivated. In fact, I received Samman Award from Income Tax Department which is an honor for meritorious tax payers. My daughter or son-in-law has no connection with this raids. The issue is related to some of the distant relatives of my son-in-law.’

Abbai Ramcharan’s ‘Rachcha’ currently playing in Sandhya 35 MM having created new records, it’s the turn of Babai Pawan Kalyan showing his power in Sandhya 70 MM with ‘Gabbar Singh.’ Perhaps, both created new industry records running successfully in these two main theatres. So, once again ‘Sandhya’ is reverberating with Mega Slogans.

Nithyananda's Ranjitha fumes @ Jayendra

Actress Ranjitha, who was caught two years ago in compromising poses with Swamy Nithyananda in a controversial video footage, is back in news. She has filed a criminal defamation case against Kanchi Mutt’s jayendra saraswathi. The complaint was moved yesterday against the pontiff for his reported intimidating statements against her. This is linked to Jayendra’s interview last week where he spoke on cast aspersions and seeing of Nithyananda always in company of Ranjitha. ‘Kanchi Diviner gave these statements only to defame me. I am shocked and suffered immense agony by his malicious statements. I was a strong believer of Nithyananda. Once listened to his discourses and attended the religious conferences, I became his disciple,’ she said. As Ranjitha arrived late to court yesterday, judge posted the matter to May 16 when she has to give a sworn statement. Then summons will be issued on jayendra saraswathi.

Pawan Kalyan's Love for 'CT & ML'

We know about pawan kalyan’s strong obsession towards Guns. The way he handles Guns and Revolvers on the screen is seen all the way from the times of ‘Badri’ till today’s ‘Gabbar Singh.’ In fact, Pawan also had some personal connection with these guns and one can remind the incident of Srija’s elopement and Pawan dropping his gun at Banjara Hills PS is a famous episode. Director Puri too called that, ‘Pawan will agree a script, if you allow hero in it to carry a gun.’ Such is Pawan’s ardency towards guns. Now, the same is used by Harish Shankar for the film ‘Gabbar Singh’ all the way from opening titles till the last climax. Even Pawan addresses his pretty collection of guns with pet names of ‘Chitti Thalli’ and ‘Maha Lakshmi.’ Well, that is the kind of emotional connectivity between Pawan and Guns. Rajamouli closed Gap between all Three

Three worth mentioning releases of this month are, Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Gabbar Singh,’ Rajamouli’s ‘eega’ and Raviteja’s Daruvu.’ We have already witnessed the kind of havoc Pawan has crated at BO with ‘Gabbar Singh’ which is set to play a long innings. In order to take enough breath by standing away from ‘Gabbar Singh,’ in no time Raviteja pushed ‘Daruvu’ from scheduled May 18th to 25th. Now, we are to Rajamouli’s ‘eega’ is also ready to fly in near by theatres on 30th that is month end. Producer Sai Korrapati has confirmed the news.    This leaves May 2012 as the biggest month where in three very big flicks are to test their fate. On the other hand, ‘Daruvu’ completed censor formalities to acquire U/A certificate. Producer Buruguapallu Siva Rama Krishna called ‘Daruvu’ as a film mixed with trade mark Raviteja mannerism, lot of commercial values and 100%, a true entertainer. As Rajamouli pulled the release of ‘eega’ closer to ‘Daruvu,’ the gap between all three above mentioned flicks now looks quite small.

'Hardly One Adult Film in Year'

Nearing to one year of her stay in Indian film industry, sunny leone is no more a stranger for us. Compared to others working in the same field, I hardly do one adult film a year. So, I consider myself a conservative girl in this industry,’ says Sunny. Her new X-rated film ‘Rachel Roxxx Your World’ is to release this week on her own Sunlust Pictures.

Charmi thinking to play a Tara Chowdary

C-Grade artist Tara Chowdary’s running of brothel house and her sex-escapades with top most people in society has come like a shocker few days ago. As film industry stays on top to cash on each and every sensation is looking upon the total issue of Tara Chowdary. Yes, we hear of veteran producer Jayakrishna met heroine Charmi regarding a project titled ‘Oka Tara’ which will be loosely based on the real life incidents of Tara Chowdary. Charmi’s track record with heroine oriented projects wasn’t good in recent past. So, she advised producer to have a re-check before narrating the script. Story of the film is about a village girl coming to city with a dream is exploited and abused by each and every one. So, the girl revolts against society. Film depicts the plight of struggling actresses compromising on each and every stage in male dominated glamour industry. Perhaps, ‘Oka Tara’ looks more like ‘Dirty Picture’ but the title happens to be indirectly pointing towards Tara Chowdary. Wait for more updates.

Prabhas & Nag's PP in July!?

The long time Pending Projects of Nagarjuna and Prabhas are ‘damarukam’ and ‘Rebel’ respectively. There have been too many speculations and rumors spreading round in film circles on these two ventures. While delay in ‘damarukam’ is reasoned to extensive CGI works along with some sort of communication problem between RR Movie Makers and hero Nagarajuna, now we hear of movie heading for a release in July most possibly. Till date, this ‘damarukam’ is the most expensive film in Nag’s career with a budget of above Rs.35 Crores invested. Secondly, ‘Rebel’ from Prabhas is dragged due to egoistic nature of director Lawrence Raghavendra spoiling a golden period in the career of Young Rebel Star. With Tamanna and Deeksha Seth as heroines, producers J. Bhagawan and J. Pulla Rao are contemplating to release the film some time in July. Again, ‘Rebel’ happens to be the costliest film in career of Prabhas. So, both ‘damarukam’ and ‘Rebel’ struggling with similar kind of release troubles are to grace the theatres in July. Sridevi Plans for Daughter's Marriage

Ever since sridevi has gone off the limelight as Heroine to settle down as a cute home maker, concentration of media was shifted on to her daughter Jahnavi who looks as good as her mum. There was speculation on Jahnavi to enter into films at the earliest possible to fill the void created by her mum. sridevi answered each and every question regarding her daughter and she has a clear opinion about Jahanavi. Pushing my daughter into films or making her lose weight isn’t anything which can be done deliberately. As she is just 15 years, I wanted her to focus on studies. She is too young to do films. I want both of my daughters to get good education which I missed out because I entered into films at a very early age. In fact, I don’t want Jahnavi to become an actress. My only wish is to see that Jahnavi would get married soon and settle down in life.’ That’s a strange wish indeed. So, chances of sridevi’s daughter to debut as heroine are very meek.

He posted, ‘I have no marriage plans for next 3-4 yrs. Pls spare me. The girl is a family friend & more like a sister. How can I marry her? Earlier too I was wrongly linked. Doesnt affect me, but think abt the girl & family.’  This keeps a full stop to all the speculations on Pooja, niece of Jagapathi Babu as the girl in Sirish’s life. However, when he called the girl more like a sister, surely gossips would be terminated here. Who will stop the 'GS' Tsunami?

Literally, it’s a tsunami at Box Office created by the image of Pawan Kalyan. No where there is stopping for ‘gabbar singh’ even on this 5th day after release. There is an over-flow of crowds in few of B & C Centers which indicated no signs of slowing down. That is the kind of mania for a mass Telugu film. With new records written all over, ‘gabbar singh’ if continues the same form for one or two more weeks might pose a big threat to ‘Magadheera’ even. In the same sync, only two films coming in next one to two weeks viz. ‘Daruvu’ of Raviteja and ‘Eega’ of Rajamouli can jetty the dream ride of ‘gabbar singh.’ An analyst said, ‘there is no strong opposition for Pawan in the market. Producer Ganesh Babu has selected such a good period of release which is giving new impetus to collections of ‘GS.’ This film has shown how dangerous Pawan can turn, if a director correctly utilizes his star power. As ‘Daruvu’ and ‘Eega’ hold good inner talk, they can serve as breakwaters for the turbidity of ‘GS.’ We have to wait and see…’

Balayya & Jr. NTR's Different Strategies

It seems natasimham nandamuri balakrishna and Young Tiger NTR have taken separate stands in selection of the directors of their recent movies and upcoming flicks. Balakrishna is selecting only senior most directors or flop directors to direct his movies. We have seen his 'Paramaveerachakra' was directed by Dasari Narayana Rao and 'Sri Rama Rajyam' was directed by Bapu. Both of them are senior most directors of the tollywood. He is also acting with the director like, 'Paruchuri Murali and Ravi Chavali for the movies 'Adhinayakudu' and 'Srimannarayana' respectively. However, both the directors are yet to prove their mettle in tollywood.  Unlike to Balakrishna, Jr.NTR is working only with hit directors. His recent flick 'Dammu' was directed by 'Simha' director Boyapati Srinu. Also he is working with the director Srinu Vytla for 'Badshah' and an untitled movie with Harish Shankar. It is a known thing that both these directors have given blockbusters like 'Dookudu' and 'Gabbar Singh'.  Finally, we have to wait and see whose stand will be worked well at the box office in future.However, we sincerely hope both Babai and Abbai will get victories with their decisions.

There are different ways for a father to express his love and caress for children. To be clearer, a statement issued by mohan babu at recent function says it all. ‘After looking at the first rushes of ‘UKUP,’ my son Vishnu cheered me saying, ‘Dad, all our financial debts will be cleared with this film.’ I am dreaming to see a very big hit,’ mohan babu confessed.  Good to see such a father not just giving discipline and hard working skill but also helping the children to climb up the ladder in their respective careers.

'Daruvu' like 'V' or 'A'

mass maharaja ravi teja seems to be competing with industry hit movies regularly. On 28th April, 2006, Prince Mahesh Babu's 'Pokiri' was released. All the movies which were released after Pokiri's release were bombed at the box office.It was 'Vikramarkudu', which defied the 'Pokiri's' mania and sustained with super hit result.  Mega Power Star Ram Charan's 'Magadheera' was released on 31st July, 2009 and became an industry hit of tollywood. Soon after this movie's release, Ravi Teja's 'Anjaneyulu' move was released on 12th August, 2009. Unfortunately, this movie gave bitter result to Ravi Teja.  And now, Ravi Teja's new  movie 'Daruvu' is releasing on 25th of this movie. However, Power Star Pawan Kalyan's 'Gabbar Singh' movie is running with super duper hit talk right now. Everybody is now eagerly waiting for the result of 'Daruvu'. Will it repeat the magic of 'Vikramarkudu' after 'Pokiri'?or gets failure like 'Anjaneyulu' after 'Magadheera's' release? Let's wait and watch.

Eega's Shocking Tamil 'S' Rights Price

Ace director s.s.rajamouli's 'Eega', all of a sudden, shocked the film folks for having got a huge business offer from kollywood. As per the details, the movie's Tamil version's satellite rights were sold out to a whopping price of Rs.3.35 crores. Everyone is getting astonished with the craze of the director Rajamouli through this business stamina of the movie. Samantha, Nani and Sudeep are doing the leading star cast of this movie.Both the  trailers which have been released so far,have generated much curiosity among the public. M.M.Keeravani's music proved to be the decent audio of recent times. Visual effects get prime importance in this movie and it is learnt that Rs.5 crores were spent on graphics and VFX work. Sai is producing this movie under Vaarahi Creations. The movie's censor is expected to be done on 21st of this month while the movie is slated for release on 30th of this month.

Are all the IPL Matches 'Fixed'?

indian premier league (IPL), the celebration of Cricket all over the world with its tiny format of entertainment is getting into murkier deals. As per the report from top media channels, many matches in the series could have been fixed. Inclusive of Match Fixing, there are also evidences of Spot Fixing says India TV channel with necessary proofs submitted to BCCI. Three domestic Indian cricketers named, TP Sudhindra (Deccan Chargers), Shalabh Srivastava (Kings XI Punjab) and Mohnish Mishra (Pune Warriros) are allegedly been caught in the sting operation. IPL Management and Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) are going through the footage of video. As per the fresh reports, IPL Governing Council and BCCI have suspended five players’ viz. Shalabh Srivastava, Mohnish Mishra, TP Sudhindra, Abhinav Bali, Amit Sharma (Kings XI Punjab) for 15 days.  BCCI worried of this bribing in IPL has gone for strictest punishments. ‘We will not tolerate this non-sense. We have zero tolerance on corruption,’ said N. Srinivasan (BCCI President). To add more fuel to the fire, the particular TV channel mentioned above claimed of Superstars of Indian Cricket, an international player who is Captain of one of the teams are involved in fixing the matches. We have to wait and see, how many matches and how many players will be sued.
