Sky high Price for 'Rachcha' Nizam rights

mega power star ram charan's 'Rachcha' movie's rights were bagged by Dil Raju for entire Nizam area. As per the reliable sources, he quoted Rs.9.60 crores for the movie. This is said to be one of the best businesses for a Telugu film in Nizam area is concerned. Earlier, Ram Charan's 'Chirutha' collected a share of Rs.7 crores in Nizam area. His industry hit 'Magadheera' collected Rs.24.80 crores share and despite its utter flop talk, his 'Orange' collected Rs.9+ crores in this area. 'Maybe because of the huge collection figures of his previous movies, 'Rachcha' got a big price for this area', says one of the experts from the trade.

'Rachcha' audio Postponed!

mega power star ram charan's 'Rachcha' movie's audio release function was earlier planned to celebrate on 20th of this month.  However, as per the sources, the audio release function has been postponed to 26th February. As we reported earlier, the function will be held grandly in Kurnool city of Ceded area. Open air auditorium will be the venue of this function. One of the producers of the movie, N.V.Prasad is organizing this function. The Chief Guest and the invitees of this function are still kept confidential.  The title song 'Rachcha', that has been leaked recently, is receiving fabulous response from Ram Charan's fans. Moreover, the film unit confidently says that all the songs of this movie are coming out well. Milky beauty Tamannah is doing female lead of the movie. The movie is gearing up to release on 23rd March.

Bunny's rare feat through Colgate Ad

It is a known thing that stylish star allu arjun has been selected as the brand ambassador for Colgate Toothpaste recently. He is said to have taken a remuneration of Rs.2 crores for this ad. In Kerala and Karnataka also he will be seen in Colgate ads. As of now, no hero of tollywood has been seen in the same ad in three states like Bunny. 'So, it can be said a rare record for him', say the sources. Currently, Allu Arju is doing yet to be titled film in the direction of Trivikram. Ileana is pairing up with him. Devi Sri Prasad is rendering the music. D.V.V.Danayya is the producer. The movie is expected to release in the month of June.

saikumar who is known for his dialogue delivery and his police character is now launching his son Aadi which makes the third generation in Tollywwod.

Lovely is the latest movie of Aadi. The film has completed shooting in Turkey and the unit will return to Hyderabad soon. Post production work is going on at brisk pace.

Lovely, a love action entertainer has Shanvi as debutant heroine. B. Jaya is the director B.A. Raju is the producer. Anoop Rubens composed music for this film.

Aadi will be seen in a different character in this film which is a mix of entertainment and action. Audio of the movie is expected to be released in second half of this month. Rajendra Prasad plays a key role and Puri Jagannath can also be seen in action.

Mahesh Babu fifth in Most desirable men list

mahesh babu is the fifth most desirable man in the country. Salman Khan, RanbirKapoor, Hrithik Roshan and John Abraham are the only four persons who are ahead of the tall and charming mahesh babu Mahesh, who is basking in the glory of back-to-back hits of Dukudu and Businessman, has scaled the ladder from 12th position last year to fifth spot this year. Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni is next to mahesh babu in the placing. Rahul Gandhi dipped from 16th place to 31st and Abhishek Bachchan improved from 37 to 30th spot. Producer Karan Johar is at the bottom taking 49th spot. New entrant Daggupati  Rana is in the 20th place and a notch above is Danush. Other prominent people in the top 50 list include, Virat Kohli (13th spot), FarhanAkhtar( jumping from 27 to 16) Aamir Khan sliding from 11 to 18, Saif Ali Khan down from 10 to 24alongwith Sidharth Mallya from 31to 36. New entrant Ritesh Deshmuk was at 39th spot and was ahead of Emraan Hashmi who fell from 32 to 40. In the female section Karina Kapoor dethroned Katrina Kaif while Priyanka Chopra fell fourth. The survey was conducted by Times group across India in which 3.74lakh participated.

Mythological song in 'Dammu'?

'dammu' is said to be one of the most sought after movies of this year. No doubt, such a craze generated on the movie is due to Young Tiger NTR is doing protagonist in the movie. We know pretty well that heroes from Nandamuri compound are known mostly through their mythological roles. Late NTR left nothing to others to play any mythological role. His successor Balakrishna also received appreciations from the critics for his Sri Rama and Sri Krishna roles.

Being a hero from Nandamuri compound, Jr.NTR is yet to prove his mettle in doing mythological roles. Earlier, he was seen as Yama in 'Yamadonga' and showed mind boggling performance in that role. His fans are expecting a fulfledged mythological role from him. But it seems it takes some more time to fulfill their desires. However, as per the grapevine, it is known that there will be a mythological song in 'dammu' movie and Trisha will also be seen in this song. For now, NTR's get up in this song is kept confidential. The movie is slated for release in the last week of April.

The clean entertainer set in the backdrop of a medical college campus is directed by Raj Madiraju the 52nd assistant director of Dharsakaratna Dasari Narayana Rao. It stars Arvind Krishna and Supriya Sailaja in the leads. Other cast Master Gaurav (Introducing),Suresh, Ranganath, Ravi Prakash, Sanjay Raichura, Narsimha Raju, Shaney , Suchitra (Introducing), Raja Naren.

Rushi's musical experience will be complete, because its 11 songs belong to six genres of music. Be it rock, jazz or Carnatic, Rushi has got everything in it. Music directors Snigdha (of Ala Modalaindi fame) and Don-Chandran have belted out foot-tapping music.

Top-class guitarists, John Anthony and Arun Chiluveru, have given a mind-blowing output. Lyrics by Krishna Chinni (of LBW fame) are of good poetic quality.

Six singers – Snigdha, Don-Chandran, Vangmayasarathy, Surendranath, Srinivas, Lipsika and Noel – in total have rendered the songs.

'Love Failure' music tops the chart busters

Siddharth's maiden film as producer, Love Failure , is gearing up for release in the third week of February. The film’s music that was released in the market recently has become popular; especially it struck the chord with its target audiences - youth. All the FM stations in Hyderabad are playing the songs and Siddharth is happy that the music is a hit.

"Taman has given different music to this film and the feedback from listeners is pretty extraordinary. It is an indication that the movie will also connect with the audiences," said producers Siddharth and Venugopal.

The film is being directed by debutant by Balaji Mohan and it has Amala Paul as the heroine. The film is a love story set in a college.

Jr. NTR as James Bond in Puri Film

Young tiger Jr. NTR will be soon seen in a James Bond character in Puri Jagannath’s film. Apparently, director Puri Jagannath hinted that Jr. NTR’s characterization would be on the lines of James Bond and he’s planning to shoot the entire movie in USA. He further said that he’s all game to make up for ‘Andhrawala’ disaster. “I will definitely compensate for that film with this one”, promised Puri. Producer Bandla Ganesh has already started making arrangements for this crazy combo. NTR is currently busy working for Dammu under Boyapati Seenu direction.

Naga Chaitanya under Veeru Potla

Tollywood circles are abuzz that Naga Chaitanya would be working under the direction Veeru Potla. Naga Chaitanya, who is currently shooting for ‘Autonagar Surya’, and ‘Gauravam’, would be soon working with Veeru Potla for an action drama. Veeru Potla already has a good track record as he earlier directed Nagarjuna for ‘Ragada’ and Manchu Manoj in ‘Bindaas’. It was also reported that Naga Chaitanya and Veeru Potla’s combo would be produced by D. Shiva Prasad Reddy under Kamakshi Kala Movies and the shoot might start in 2012.

No Bhatti Vikramarka Remake: Sai Baba

Reacting to a certain section of media speculation about Yalamanchali Sai Baba remaking ‘Bhatti Vikramarka’ starring Nandamuri Balakrishna, the producer clarified that he's not making any mythological movie with Balayya and 'Bhatti Vikramarka' is a just speculation. “I’m not making any mystic movie with Balayya. I don’t know where these rumours have come from but I shall let you know if I finalize anything”, elucidates Yalamanchali Sai Baba. Speaking about Sri Rama Rajyam success, Sai Baba said that he’s feeling proud to be associated with such a great project. “I’m very pleased to be part of such a prestigious film and I’m thankful to the entire Sri Rama Rajyam unit for making it a success”, adjoins Sai Baba.

Racha Audio Songs Release on March 26

Mega Power Star Ram Charan's forthcoming film Racha audio songs release will be held on March 26 in Kurnool. Earlier, there is buzz that the audio will be released on March 20 on the occasion of Sivarathri. The title song leaked recently received excellent response from public. For the first time, Tamanna has been roped in as female lead opposite Charan in this mass entertainer. Sampath Nandi wields the megaphone, while NV Prasad and Paras Jain are jointly producing Rachcha on Mega Super Good Movies banner. Music for the film is credited to Mani Sharma.

Akshay's HOUSEFULL 2 to break Hrithik's AGNEEPATH record?

Sajid Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala have done their bit to end Shahrukh Khan-Shirish Kunder-Farah Khan fracas and now they have decided to some real business. Plans are already in place for HOUSEFULL 2 and they are aiming for nothing less than a record start.

No wonder, HOUSEFULL 2 too has taken cue from that and expecting a great start with the release coinciding with holiday season.

''Record opening weekend collection of films like BODYGUARD (Eid), RA.ONE (Diwali), DON 2 (Christmas) and now AGNEEPATH (Republic Day) has established quite strongly that if there is a holiday that falls in and around the release date, the collections get a major push. The end result could be anything as it depends on the overall packaging and the actual content of the film. With the film releasing over an extended four day long weekend which is made of holidays (Thursday 5th April is Mahavir Jayanti and 6th April is Good Friday), sky is the limit for it if the word of mouth catches on in a big way.

Director Teja’s upcoming film tittled "Neeku Naaku Dash Dash.." is getting ready to release in the last week of March. In this film all the new comers are playing the lead roles.Teja was selected the lead pair through a talent hunt programme in AP, which was telecasted in Gemini.So far the director not revealed the actors names and their faces to the media.

Mass Maharaja Raviteja’s new film titled Daruvu shooting is presently progressing at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. There the film unit was erected a special Yamalokam set in RFC and currently the film shooting is progressing in this Yamalokam set.Tamil actor Prabhu will be seen in Yamadharma Raja role in the film. Tapsee is playing the female lead role in this flick.
