Nandamuri balakrishna’s new flick readying for release is ‘Adhinayakudu’ directed by Paruchuri Murali for producer ML Padma Kumar Chowdary. There were too many speculations and rumors surrounded on this movie release due to producer running into severe financial crisis. Even Balayya is heard of showing no interest on this project and stayed away from dubbing to his triple roles.  At this moment when every one was thinking of ‘Adhinaykudu’ never to have an end for its woes, RR Movie Distributors of Venkat is known to have shown his ‘Abhaya Hastam.’  Yes, latest buzz is that RR Movie Distributors playing big role in latest releases has acquired the distribution rights of movie. Currently, plans are on the anvil to get ‘Adhinayakudu’ into theatres by 12th of next month. So, Balayya finally joins the summer race competing with ‘Rachcha, Eega, Gabbar Singh, Dammu.’

Mahesh 2 Nandis also Controversial?

Till now, Prince mahesh Babu is the only hero among the present day youth heroes of tollywood to have received two Nandi Best Actor Awards for his movies 'Nijam' and 'Athadu'. However, some of the other heroes fans are complaining that both the awards of Nandi went on controversial those days for different reasons. mahesh's 'Nijam' movie was released in the year, 2003. He had to compete with Chiranjeevi for his 'Tagore' and Jr.NTR for his 'Simhadri' movie. However, Chiranjeevi was not given the award because remake movies were out of the competition for Nandi Awards those days. Some of the fans of NTR and Chiranjeevi complained that mahesh won the Nandi Award because his uncle G.Adiseshagiri Rao's involvement was much more in the awards committee. mahesh received Nandi Best Actor Award for his acting in 'Athadu' movie for the year, 2005. Some of the anti fans complained that the chairman of the awards committee, Doondy(P.Doondeswara Rao), produced many movies with super star Krishna, and had become the most favourite producer for Krishna. And so, anti fans predict that the involvement of Doondy was there in announcing the Nandi Best Actor Award.  P.S.: We don't know whether the above arguments are right or wrong. Newly elected Rajya Sabha member K chiranjeevi on Tuesday stated that there was no truth in Endowment Minister C Ramachandraiah’s complaints that the erstwhile Praja Rajyam members were being treated as 'second grade citizens' in the Congress party. Talking to media persons at Congress Legislature Party Office after receiving the certificate from the Returning Officer,chiranjeevi said that Ramachandraiah has expressed the feelings of some ground level workers and it was not his opinion. Stating that the PRP has not received any raw deal in the merger with the Congress party, chiranjeevi said that the merger has strengthened the Congress party and saved the government from threats. Admitting that the merger was yet to reach the ground level, he said that it would take place at all levels in a phased manner. chiranjeevi said that he would resign from Tirupathi MLA constituency on March 29 and administer oath of secrecy of Rajya Sabha on April 3. He said the Congress party has increased his responsibility by elevating him as the Rajya Sabha member. Stating that former chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy inspired him to join politics, the actor-turned politician stated that his election as MLA has helped him a lot to know the problems of people.

A popular Telugu daily newspaper has published this matter with the following heading; "VARIETY ANTE EMITO RACHCHA LO CHOOSTHARU--RAM CHARAN" However, the same newspaper published another matter just below the matter of Ram Charan. The heading of that matter is; 'DAMMU' ENTO NTR CHOOPISTHAADU. Also, the newspaper published the photo of Ram Charan on left, and NTR's on right. And more surprisingly, NTR is beckoning his index finger to somebody seriously and as if it appears that he warns Ram Charan. Also, the newspaper published the matter of  'Zanjeer' movie's original writers Javed Akhtar and Salim Khan's agony for copying their story for Ram Charan's 'Zanjeer'. In fact, the makers of this remake movie had already given a clarification on this matter and assured that they would talk with the writers duo.  We approached some of the mega fans to know the reason for this strange gesture of the newspaper. And they said that, the head of the newspaper was a politician and obviously, he had lot of fears on Chiranjeevi and his son and that is the reason for the jealousy exhibited by the newspaper.

One more gossip is that, Ram Charan's 'Rachcha' movie is releasing on 5th April. To maintain the gap of 50 days between 'gabbar singh' and 'Rachcha', 'gabbar singh' is heard to have postponed. I will handle both the brother roles by doing double action.’ This means, instead of Venkatesh given the dual characters, Mahesh wants ‘SVSC’ to be his first double role film. Well, none knows what happened later on but doubtlessly producer ‘Dil’ Raju’s fuse would have gone blasted.

By any minute chances, if ‘Rachcha’ is prolonged…definitely Mega Fans won’t digest the BO fight with in Mega Family. Even if, producers adjust for a gap of one month to 50 days between the two, this will be very big favor for Mega Fans to keep their excitement levels on high.

Ace director S.S.Rajamouli's highly anticipated technical movie 'eega's audio is being launched at Brahmakumari's Academy in Gachibowli of Hyderabad. This function is telecasted live by NTV.  It is known that seven heroes are to grace this mega audio function and all of them are said to be the heroes of Rajamouli's previous movies. Jr. NTR, Nitin, Prabhas, Ravi Teja, Ram Charan, Sunil and Nagarjuna are likely to unveil the audio of the movie. No Copyrights Problem for 'Zanjeer'

News about original script writers of 1970 super duper hit flick ‘zanjeer’ viz. Javed Akhtar and Salim Khan raising the issue of copyrights is considered as a roadblock in taking the Bollywood debut of Ramcharan ahead. During Javed Sahib’s recent visit to Patna for Bihar Centenary Celebrations, he said ‘ones who are remaking zanjeer have not sought our permission.’ As a reply and gratitude of respect towards this writer duo, Amit Mehra, producer for new version of ‘Zaneer’ responded. ‘I will discuss on entire remake script of zanjeer with Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar once it gets ready. We have actually bought the rights of zanjeer in January 2012. I am going to meet Javed and Salim sir soon because I want their blessings before I start my first film as a producer. More or less, this newer version will be same as original but more modernized and dialogues will become more important. Shooting will begin next month in Mumbai without any problems.’ For information sake, Amit Mehra is son of ‘zanjeer’ original producer, director Prakash Mehra. As Mehra and Javed, Salim are more like family members, copyright is not to become a hurdle.

Although, it is unofficial news for now, the makers are going to announce the movie's title very soon.  This movie is touted to be a romantic comedy action thriller. Why no Votes for Chiru's Campaigning?

chiranjeevi is often criticized by opposition leaders that he fails to gain the votes of the voters of respective constituencies wherever he goes for campaigning. Also, they severely slam that chiranjeevi loses the votes of his fans as well. Are these criticisms true? When we contacted Mega fans, surprisingly, they accepted all the criticisms of those opposition leaders.  According to mega fans, as of now, chiranjeevi was not given any status in Congress Party. When chiranjeevi made a campaigning to different constituencies, nobody could understand on what basis he was asking the votes to the people as they felt chiranjeevi as just a sacrificer to the party. "We felt if our hero would get any benefit with our votes. If we listen to the words of chiranjeevi, and cast our votes to the Congress Party, the credit would be bagged by the CM and PCC Chief, but not by chiranjeevi. Then why should we vote for them? If our hero is made a Union Minister, we shall listen to his words partially, if he is made the CM of the state, each of the fans of chiranjeevi motivates at least ten voters to vote in favour of chiranjeevi. That's all.", says one of the mega fans.

Producer confirms 'Rachcha' Record

Producer NV Prasad is planning for a big release of ‘Rachcha.’ His confidence is exposed during the press meet arranged today. Prasad garu spoke at brief to media friends on the eve of celebrating ramcharan’s Birthday today on the sets of ‘Rachcha’ song (Dillaku Dillaku…) shooting. He said, ‘post production works are almost complete. We are remained with shooting of one and half song that is going on now. Our team is planning for a gigantic release of ‘Rachcha’ on April 5 with record number of theatres which Tollywood has ever seen.’ So, it is confirmed that ‘Rachcha’ is going to generate tremors in South industry with opening collections and wish that ramcharan will have one more top industry hit into his account.

Tollywood missing in Award Culture

Is our tollywood missing the standards of Bollywood and Hollywood? This has been a question often asked by many. Often we see certain awards go for askance because at times we find that there are no nominations in those certain categories. Should we select best of the nominations that have come or can we reject them saying films are not up to the mark. Question is, how else we can justify our films getting awards in all categories locally while drawing a blank at National level, sorry…forget Oscars. The cream of National Awards went to regional language films though Vidya Balan could win the Best Actress Award. Where do our tollywood stand on a National scale? Being a multi crore industry…we dole out films in good quantity (forget quality) and the measure of success is scaled by collections and not on those elements like story, screenplay, editing, performance, music etc. Not a bad idea…even In Hollywood and Bollywood as well, we have 90% of films catering to commercial interests but remaining 10% are made just for winning awards and they really win. Yes, we do not have this class and culture in tollywood. Our industry is under the control of few biggies who produce films, buy distribution rights and also are exhibitors, they own theatres or hold lease. Since industry is run purely on commercial basis, it becomes difficult for small budget experimental films to make it big as they are virtually at the mercy of biggies. Recently, we have seen how pictures stayed in Pongal fray with one film after the other slipping out of race and two big films galloped collection of the week or two and left the market for the other films. Post production work delay is the most common excuse for postponing a film as that element of the film can take any number of days to suit the requirement quick or leisurely. This is where you see many tiny keep waiting for theatres, while some pictures with nil collection (viewers wise, as the money will be paid by the interested party) but still run for 50 days or 100 days. (One popular theatre in the city witnessed such a feat) Under such circumstances, anti-piracy MOU was signed making government a party. Good for the industry but there should also be equal measure of concern for small budget films from the government end and the Film Chamber should take every one seriously, and should not be a puppet in the hands of a few influential people. Better initiative would be that Lease of theatres and Dates Available should be made public or displayed at Film Chambers and concerned Departments/Institute of State Government to begin with.

Alphonsa escapes from Police

Hot item bomb alfonsa’s suicide attempt followed by her live in partner Vinod’s dead body found hanging to fan in their apartment has created a big controversy in film circles. While police confirmed this as a case of suicide, Vinod’s parents filed case against alfonsa and her brother Robert suspecting the hand of these two in death of their son. As alfonsa is now discharged from hospital, police tried to interrogate her. On the other side, she applied for anticipatory bail which was rejected by Sessions Judge reasoning that a detailed clarification from Police department is yet to be obtained. In the process of unraveling mysterious reasons behind Vinod’s death, Police reached alfonsa’s apartment but found the house locked. Final reports say, alfonsa escaped from police only to avoid any more nuisance happen in her life while the underlying truths are yet to come out.

Although sudheer babu’s recent debut flick ‘SMS’ was an average grosser, his ease in doing dances and action stunts is appreciated. Now, it is time for Sudheer to start preparations for second film and he will sport six packs body for the film to be directed by Vamsi Krishna Akella of ‘Raksha’ fame. This new movie will be an action entertainer and sudheer babu tweeted this.  ‘Started training for my new movie. learning a lot of new skills for figths & dances. This top cop has handled 94 serial murder cases and director has converted one of them as plot for this film. Hero character done by Chetan will commit 35 murders only for sake of his girl. The couple continues to live together even today without having married.

Fans Happy: Rachcha Release Confirmed

Pushing away all the rumors to a corner, NV Prasad, one of the producers of ‘rachcha’ has announced yesterday that their film is going to release in first week of April. While rumors of film getting delayed till May are making rounds in market and Ramcharan’s injury during shoot of a song still troubling, this announcement from producer and director Sampat Nandi will definitely serve like a relief.  Audio composed by Mani Sharma is already topping the charts and expectations are very high on the movie. ‘We have completed the shooting and dubbing works. Currently DTS mixing is going on. As all the remaining post production works will come to an end very soon, April first week would be the release of ‘rachcha.’ Response for audio is awesome,’ said NV Prasad.
