NTR is leaving no stone unturned to deliver a massive hit this year. He is one of the top contenders for No.1 position in Tollywood but his recent films bombed like anything. So NTR wants to bounce back this year and has lined up three films.

Dammu - A sure shot winner?

His mass-masala entertainer Dammu, being directed by Boyapati Srinu, is nearing completion. NTR has pinned hopes on this film and is confident that it would be a sure shot winner. Director Boyapati Srinu has directed three films so far - B hadra, Tulasi and Simha and all of them are massive hits. SoDammu carries good pre-release talk and has already completed business for most areas at a record price.

New Badshah!
Director Srinu Vytla who has just delivered biggest hit for Mahesh Babu with Dookudu is now finishing off the script for his new film with NTR. And the same successful team of Dookudu with writers Kona Venkat and Gopi Mohan and music director Taman, is working for this action entertainer. Buzz is that the film is likely to be titled Badshah.
Earlier Action was considered as the title but now Badshah is almost finalized.  Producer Bandla Ganesh said the film would project NTR in never before seen avatar and made with right mix of mass elements and class entertainment. Kajal Agarwal is the heroine for this film and the movie begins its regular shoot from March end/April 1st week.

NTR with Puri

Come September, NTR will move on to his third film this year. He will be teaming up with Puri Jagannadh from September 18. Puri Jagan who has given big dud for NTR with Andhrawala long back is reportedly promised the star that he'd make most 'commercially viable' film.

Next commitments

Buzz is that NTR also given green signal to director Harish Shankar for producer Nani next year. On the whole, his career and lineup seems pretty good.

Ashwini Dutt produces Ravi Teja's film

Anjaneyulu duo is back. Ravi Teja has given another chance to his 'Anjaneyulu' director Parasuram. As he won praise for recent film, Solo, starring Nara Rohith, Ravi Teja has given nod to Parasuram's name although their first film, Anjaneyulu, failed miserably. The film is to be produced by Ashwini Dutt who has lined up three big films now.

As Meher Ramesh's proposed film with Ravi Teja is getting delayed, this project fell in place. 

Bupathi Raja is providing the script. And Ravi Teja will start shooting for this film from June. 

'Ghajini' Surya is now Duplicate!

Tamil superstar Surya is currently doing a film titled Maatran in Tamil in the direction of K V Anand of Rangam fame. The film is in the final stages of production and it is set for grand release in Tamil and Telugu this summer. 

Bellamkonda Suresh has bagged the movie's Telugu dubbing rights for a whopping price and it is learnt that the Telugu version is titled Duplicate.

Poola Rangadu Movie Review

Behind The Movie Poola Rangadu: Comedian turned hero Sunil in an all new get up together with successful comedy handler Veerabhadram and RR Movie Makers made expectations to rise on this flick. Let us see, what is the fresh fragrance of this ‘Poola Rangadu’?

In the Movie Poola Rangadu: Ranga (Sunil) is a small real estate dealer who has too many accounts to settle but is already bankrupt. To cash upon a deal of 30 acres land in a tiny village near Warangal, Ranga keeps his father (Kota)’s house at risk and gets the land registered on his name. When Ranga visits the actual site, he is shocked to know the land is in litigation between two cold blooded rival parties viz. Konda Reddy (Dev Gill) and Lala Goud (Pradeep Rawat).

Ranga has no other way rather to return back home with empty hands which he can’t. With help of his friends Vasu (Ali) and Bosu (Satyam Rajesh), now Ranga etches out a plan to woo Lala Goud’s daughter Anita (Isha Chawla) and get his property released. In the process, Ranga wins the heart of Anita but fails to unite the two rival families. When Konda Reddy eyes on marrying Anita, the only solution left for Ranga is to punish him and win both his land and love.

Values of the Movie Poola Rangadu: The biggest plus points for the film are director Veerabhadram and hero Sunil. Hats Off to their chemistry that resulted in a true family entertainer along with ample mass elements. Never do we see a lag or boring episode throughout. Dialogues by Sreedhar Seepana are hilarious and also heart touching in some emotional scenes. Prasad Murella’s cinematography reaches top notch standards by climax episodes. Background musical score by Anup Rubens was exhilarating. Editing by Goutham Raju was conventional. Special congrats to Kanal Kannan for showing Sunil’s six packs in a breath taking action scene. Production values of RR Movie Makers were highly appreciative.

Performance wise, Sunil is just extra ordinary in every department. He was at regular ease in doing comedy and same is exhibited in emotional scenes or performing wonderful dance moments along with climax fight. Isha Chawla is a natural beauty with cute smile as her rapport with Sunil has come out satisfactory. While Dev Gill and Pradeep Rawat are struck with regular villainy, it’s the comedy of Raghu Babu, Ali and ‘Satyam’ Rajesh in coherence with Sunil that made ‘Poola Rangadu’ to reach an all new standards. Among others Sudha, Kota, Duvvasi Mohan etc are regular.

Out of the Movie Poola Rangadu: Although result of movie is on positive side, it’s pity to see Sunil in a macho look at the loss of his original charm on face. Most of the time, costumes selected by director for Sunil seems to have meant to cover the folds on his skin. Yet, the hard work and dedication by Sunil in every minuet aspect is worth impressive. No doubts... ‘Poola Rangadu’ will offer new lease to bumpy ride of Sunil, make Veerabhadram join the top league of directors and give ample name, fame for writer Sreedhar Seepana. 

Nevertheless one will find definite shades of ‘Maryada Ramanna’ or ‘Hanuman Junction’ in ‘Poola Rangadu,’ everything is excused after watching this adequate output. Director’s grip on narration without loosing the pace in story along with weaving of necessary punches at regular intervals made the film a thorough entertainer. Special mention for the climax action scene which was even though lengthy (more than 12 minutes), it is unbelievable. Looks like RR Movie Makers are running on a golden patch as they are to see one more hit on their banner. In ‘B’ and ‘C’ Centers, response will be uniquely positive for the film.     

NTR's Kingly Reply to Mahesh Fans!

junior ntr is waiting for a big hit from some time as much of movies released in last two years where either averages or duds. On opposite side, ‘Dookudu’ and ‘Businessman’ tempted Prince Fans to name their hero as Number One or Prince reshaped as King. Exactly in this same time, junior ntr seems to have given a strong reply to them by naming his coming up project with Srinu Vytla titled as ‘Badshah.’ ‘Badshah’ in English means ‘An Undisputed or Opposition-Less King who won against all his rivals.’ Well, for Nandamuri Fans there is too much to observe and absorb from this title. NTR will start working on this film soon after completing ‘Dammu’ as Srinu Vytla nearly completed the script. Kajal Agarwal will be the heroine. In fact top stars like Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan are referred as ‘Badshah’ to announce their supremacy in Bollywood. So, NTR declares it proudly with his name that he is ‘Supreme King of Tollywood.

In February we have seen every week, one or the other star hero films releasing as BO is coming alive after the lull period faced by industry next to Sankranti. This week we have Nitin and Nitya Menon starring ‘Ishq’ releasing on 24th while the much discussed manchu manoj’s ‘Mr. Nokia’ is also eager to hit the screens as post production works are totally complete.  Apparently couple of dates announced earlier by producer DS Rao regarding release of flick but Manchu Mohan Babu made it official on Twitter that his son’s ‘Mr. Nokia’ is set to release on March 2nd. Heroines in this flick are Kriti Kharbhanda and Sana Khan, music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Stylish appearance of manchu manojon posters is praised by public. Let us wish him all the best.

Surprising 'T' Sentiment for Sunil's Movies

As of now, sunil acted in four movies as a hero and three of those movies were proved to be hits at the box office. They are, 'Andala Ramudu', 'Maryada Ramanna' and 'Poola Rangadu'. The only flop given by him so far is 'KSD Appalaraju'. Here, the surprising thing is that all the three hits given by him are of old movie titles. Let us have a look at the particulars of those movies.  ANDALA RAMUDU: ANR and Latha starrer 'Andala Ramudu' was released in 1973. Bapu directed this movie. Though the songs of this movie were big hit, the movie couldn't fare well at the box office. SRI SRI SRI MARYADA RAMANNA: It is a 1967 film produced by comedian Padmanabham. Padmanabham and Gitanjali were the lead cast of the film. S.P.Balasubrahmanyam gave his debut as singer through this film. The first song sung by him was, 'Emi ee vintha moham'.  POOLA RANGADU: ANR and Jamuna were the star cast of this film. This movie was released in the year, 1967. ANR's 'steps' created a big sensation and the movie turned out to be a blockbuster then.  P.S. Since most of the industry people believe in sentiments, we can expect sunil comes up as a hero with some more old movie titles.

‘Rangam’ in Telugu is dubbed version to Tamil ‘Ko.’ However film was a hit in both the languages making many top B-town producers to win the remake rights. Finally, it was the call of Prakash Jha familiar for dealing Political subjects of current relevance on Hindi screen has won them.    Latest buzz is, veteran heroine or call her Super Aunt madhuri dixit who recently shifted to Mumbai from the US of America for the best future of kids is known to have found this script most excited to make a come back. ‘As, she is looking for author backed characters to make a re-entry, she found Prakash Jha subject as suitable,’ says the source. Earlier to this, Madhuri worked with Jha for ‘Mrityudand’ that is critically acclaimed.

Raviteja faces T-ire near OU Campus

Telangana agitation in Hyderabad when appeared to have melt down with time, here is latest instance of agitators creating hurdles to film shooting seen today. All this was happening at APSRTC Hospital in Taranaka which is very much near to Osmania University Campus where shooting of raviteja’s new flick ‘Daruvu’ is taking place. Reports say that few men from near by areas arrived at shooting spot shouting Telangana slogans indulging into verbal attack with cast and crew present on location. Although shoot has been cancelled, a part of furniture like spotlights and minor equipment found at the spot were damaged. Much before cops brought the situation into control, ravitejaescaped from the location. Heroine in the film is Tapsee, director is Shiva while producer is Burugupalli Shivaramakrishna.

Now, this ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ will explore the romantic angle as film provides scope for one good lip kiss too.

NTR has 'Balupu'?

Some of the dialogues of Jr.NTR's 'Dammu' movie are reportedly making hulchul on the internet. In addition to those dialogues one more dialogue of 'Dammu' movie is said to be leaked. The dialogue is as follows. BAAGA BHAYAPADEVAADU DHAIRYAM KOSAM CHOOSTHAADU. BAAGA BALUPU VUNNODU VAADNI TOUCH CHESE MAGADI KOSAM CHOOSTHADU.  Currently, the movie's shoot is in its finishing stages. It is known that the makers are planning to release the movie's audio directly into the market. We have to wait for the official announcement of the producer about this news. The movie is slated for 27th April release.

Naga Babu Recommendation @ Rachcha

Mega Brother naga babu has good taste towards films. Although his own banner of Anjana Productions offered wonderful yet flop movies, many are critically acclaimed. Here is one more from naga babu. E TV’s prestigious reality show, ‘Adhurs’ has been a big hit recording good TRP ratings and naga babu is one of the judges on show.  One of the contestants in this program is Bir Khalsa group which showed their amazing feats. As per the inside sources, it is learnt that naga babu recommended this group to perform their skills at ‘Rachcha’ audio function that is going to be held on 4th March in the town of Kurnool. This audio function is likely to be a grand gala event of recent times to Tollywood. Power Star Pawan Kalyan and director Shankar will be the Chief Guests of this function. Performing before such celebrities will be a big deal for Bir Khalsa Group.

Sequel to Rajinikanth's 'Baasha'

‘Ee Baasha Okka Saari Chebithe Vanda Saarlu Cheppinattu…’ Who can forget this famous one liner from rajinikanth that reverberates even today taken from the film ‘Baasha.’ Now, director Suresh Krissna is planning a sequel for same but for time being this might happen first in Kannada language. However this ‘Baasha 2’ will be ‘Kichcha’ Sudeep. While Late Vishnuvardhan was hero in Kannada remake of ‘Baasha,’ this time it’s chance for Sudeep (villain of ‘Eega’).   As rajinikanth is tired working for ‘Kochchadaiyaan,’ possibilities of Super Star acting in Tamil sequel for ‘Baasha’ might be a distant dream. Given the high success rate of sequels in Kannada language, let us wish that we will have ‘Baasha 2’ both in Tamil and Telugu with Rajini Sir.

Star Hero Arrested for Assault

B-town big hero saif ali khan has been arrested yesterday and has also been granted bail in an assault case. All this was happened when Saif along with his girl friend Kareena Kapoor, Karishma Kapoor and Amrita Arora attended for a late night dinner at Morimoto Restaurant, Taj Mahal Hotel. Unable to bear the loud shootings by this group, NRI businessman Iqbal Sharma sitting on the other table requested Chhota Nawab to please maintain some silence.     ‘When they didn’t decrease voice my family decided to move to another part of restaurant. Around the same time, Saif coming up probably from toilet called me an idiot and asked ‘Do you know who I am?’ then pushed me assaulting my father-in-law who had bruises on his jaw,’ said Sharma. As CC TV footage proved Saif guilty, Colaba Police arrested him on the complaint of Sharma. Then was the star hero released for a surety of Rs.3000 paid by two of his friends.

This time NTR got above average result for the movie at the box office.  If the latest buzz is to be believed, kodali nani is once again going to produce a movie with Jr.NTR as hero. This movie will be directed by Harish Shankar. Currently, NTR is doing 'Dammu' and the movie is slated for release on 27th April. Afterwards, his 'Badshah' movie will be rolled down in the direction of Srinu Vytla. kodali nani's project is expected to be started after completion of the above two movies.

Larger than life image in films, flattery in uneven proportions and a group of sycophants surrounding them and above all the golden spoon from birth or the rags to riches make the actors snobbish and behave in an irrational way.  saif ali khan was booked by Colaba police in Mumabi for punching an elderly man. He was partying with ten members while the victim was with a much smaller group. Saif, born to cricketer Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi and actress Sharmila Tagore was in trouble earlier too for similar reasons.  You have actors who  were booked for various nuisances like hunting endangered species, driving the car killing or injuring people sleeping on footpaths, possessing weapons, slapping others, drunken driving and of course for being in the world’s oldest profession.  Tollywood is not bereft of such indecent incidents. Mahesh Babu was booked for assaulting a trader in Warangal on charges of selling pirated CDs. Like a real time hero he raided the shop with his followers and created scene besides assaulting him. In olden days MR Radha had fired a real bullet at MGR during a shooting, pun unintended, due to ideological differences. We heard that Mohan Babu was booked in an assault case in Srikakulam district and he was also accused of slapping a Sakshi Sivanand’s sister for not acting properly.  Heroism is shown off-stage as well with the hangover of the on-set sequences lingering and Tollywood is known to hush up things, unless it is a major one. We know of shooting star Nandamuri Balakrishna and the developments that took place at his residence. We also know of a hero who used unparliamentarily language with a lady journalist. We know how many huts and slums were razed, accident or otherwise and solid structures like studios or mansion coming up soon after at the same place.  If you to want to experience the real highhandedness of Tollywood…just visit any shooting site, you are treated as dirt. The entire unit behaves as if they own the place and you are a trespasser even if it is a public place. There were incidents of public parks being shut down for shooting, roads blocked or traffic diverted to enable the shooting. All this is only because a cop or a mantri happens to be known to someone who knows the brother-in-law of a catering contractor whose nephew is married to the sister whose paternal uncle is a driver in the production unit. Cases of rape, assault, suicide, drugs and the like have become common, most of them unreported. It is time some serious thinking is done and wise heads come together.

'Dammu' audio rights details

young tiger ntr's 'Dammu' movie's audio rights were bagged by Vel Records, that is owned by music director M.M.Keeravani's wife Srivalli. M.M.Keeravani is rendering the music for this movie. The audio of this movie will be released in three cities of A.P. simultaneously on 23rd March, the day of Ugadi.  Trisha and Karthika will be seen opposite to NTR. Boyapati Srinu is directing this movie under Creative Commercials banner. The makers are planning to release the movie on 27th April.

TV Channel Targeting Mega & Rebel Fans

As usually mega fans are getting embarrassed with the discussion program titled ‘Who is going to be the Number One Hero?’ that is likely to be telecasted on 23rd February (today) from 6.30 PM onwards in a reputed News channel. As per the details, that channel has reportedly invited Fans of different heroes to participate in the discussion. Here lies the cause of their worry.  As per them, candidates selected by the channel on behalf of other heroes might be good at giving the data of shares and records of their heroes. On the other hand, they are suspecting that participants to be selected on behalf of Mega compound might not be a capable person as the same thing was witnessed in previous discussion programs.  Also, Power Star Pawan Kalyan Fans are worrying that this channel is definitely going to be humiliated them as they have done earlier. Moreover, Rebel Star Prabhas Fans also hating these kinds of programs because their hero’s name was never mentioned by this particular channel in the list of contenders to Number One position. Now, don’t you know this channel folks…?

Having crossed ‘Dweetiya Vighnam’ very easily, director veerabhadram Chowdary has become the tongue in mouth of film industry. The way script and comedy episodes in ‘Poola Rangadu’ are molded to win the BO has won the praises of each and everyone. With commercial success of film reaming undoubted, he is ready to join the top directors list of Tollywood. But there is one clause here? It has been a conventional formula on Telugu films that, a director will be rated as Top only when he/she deals continuously with Star or Top heroes. If that is case, the next task for veerabhadram is to direct any of our so called Stars. Then, will he be promoted from ‘Special’ to ‘Very Very Special.’
