Venky’s Vivekananda from September!
Venkatesh’s upcoming movie Bodyguard is all set to hit the screens on January 14th, 2012. Now he is eying on his dream project in which he will be seen in a role of Swamy Vivekananda.His dream project ‘Swamy Vivekananda is said to be a very close to his heart and it is going to start from September of this year.
The film will be directed by Mani Shankar and Venky is excited about the movie and script.“Dialogues are excellent and each and every frame of the film will be delight to watch”, said by Venkatesh. When asked about the story of the movie he simply smiled and said that “Wait and watch. All I can reveal for now is that the movie would be extraordinary”
Soon the actor Venkatesh is going to join in the shooting of his new film titled "Seethamma vakitlo Sirimalle chettu" in which Mahesh is also playing the other lead role
Actress Trisha denied rumours that she was found cosying up with Tollywood star Rana Daggubati on a beach in Goa on New Year day.
The 28-year-old actress affirmed that she was with Rana Daggubati's gang on the New Year's bash, but rubbished the said reports, stating that she's been good friends with Rana Daggubati for ten years and they share common group of friends.
"Rana and I have been friends for 10 years now. He’s a great friend and yes, we hang out because of that. We also share a mutual group of friends," Trisha said. The actress is now busy with a couple of Tamil film and a Tollywood project opposite Jr. NTR.
Businessman’s new record!
Prince Mahesh Babu’s much hyped upcoming movie "Businessman" is all set for a grand release on January 13th, 2012 in a record number of theaters.Businessman is going to release in 92 screens in Hyderabad itself and Prasads Multiplex runs 33 shows on the first day of its release, so these will be a new records for Businessman.
Earlier Jr NTR’s "Oosaravelli" movie released around 70 theaters in Hyderabad and now Businessman breaks the Jr NTR’s movie record.Businessman is set a new record in Tollywood for its massive release and with 33 shows at Prasads Multiplex.
Kajal is the heroine in this film and it is directed by Puri Jagannadh. The film is produced by Venkat on RR Movie Makers banner and Thaman has scored the music.
R R Movie Distributors are planning to release the movie in a record number of theaters on first day to en cash the Mahesh’s craze as well as festive season.The producers of the film are planning for maximum collections in the first week itself due to festive season.
Earlier Mahesh Babu’s Dookudu holds record for highest collections for the first week, so now we have to see that whether Businessman is going to break his Dookudu record or not.
Kollywood Sex Bomb files a case on Producer!
The Tamil cleavage Sex Bomb Sona, who was in the news recently by filing a case against Well known singer SP Bala Subrahmanyam's son Charan for sexual harassment and later they were compromised. Now she is in the news again, but this time not for sexual harassment but for cheating her.Now Sona Heiden has filed a cheating case against producer T Siva at the Kollywood Producers council.
In her complaint, she said that "Me and Shiva has co-produced a Tamil film 'Kanimozhi' on 50-50% share. Hence she also has 50% share not only in the Tamil film but also in other versions as well like either its remake or dubbing rights. Now the producer Shiva has sold the dubbing rights of Kanimozhi to a Tollywood producer Jakkula Nageswara Rao without her permission.
However, putting aside their agreement, Shiva has sold the dubbing rights of the film.So, she believes that T Siva has cheated her and seeks the Council to take immediate action against the producer.
Mr Nokia releasing on February 3rd!
Manchu Manoj’s forthcoming film "Mr Nokia" post-production works are on progress presently. Now the latest news is that the movie got the release date and the film is all set to release on February 3rd. The audio of the film is expected to be launched on January 15th at Durgam Cheruvu, Hyderabad.Sana Khan and Kriti Kharbandha are playing the female lead roles opposite to Manoj in this film.
In this film Manjo did many risky stunts and the film unit says that the action sequences came out very well. Manchu Manoj has also penned the lyrics for two songs in this movie.
The film is directed by Anil Krishna and produced by DS Rao on Sai Sailendra Cinemas Banner.Yuvan Shankar Raja has scored the music.
Sanchita Padukone’s Telugu debut!
Actress Sanchita Padukone is all set to make her debut in Tollywood with the film tentatively titled " Chammak Challo". She is going to pair up with Varun Sandesh in this film.This is her first film in Telugu, earlier she acted in couple of Kannada and Tamil films. Another interesting news is that Varun Sandesh is acting with the new heroines in most his films. Now he is pairing up with a new heroine again in this film.
The film will be directed by Neelakanta, who has earlier directed the movies like ’Show’ and ’Missamma’.The movie will be produced by DS Rao under Shailendra Cinema banner.
The film is said to be a youthful commercial entertainer and more details about the film will be revealed soon. The movie is going to be launched shortly.
Actor Siva Balaji fined!
Arya fame hero Siva Balaji, who caught by the Jubilee Hills police, on Saturday night for driving his Ford Fiesta car in a drunken condition at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan junction in the Film Nagar.The Traffic polices were also conducted the breath-analyser test on the actor.
During the breath analyzer test, police discovered that the blood alcohol content of the actor was 68/100 mg against the permitted limit of 30/100 mg. Police immediately seized his Ford Fiesta car (TN 41 S 4701), driving licence and sent the actor home. He was asked to appear before court on Monday.
Now the latest news is that on Yesterday (January 10th) the hero Siva Balaji was attended before the court and the court fined him Rs 2500 for drunken driving. Siva Balaji paid Rs2500 and has taken his car.
Bipasha Basu upset with leaked birthday party video!
Bollywood’s hot actress Bipasha Basu, who turned 33 on January 7, 2012. It captured more intimate moments of her jokingly stabbing the specially designed cake made of fresh fruit, cream and sponge, her uninhibited dance steps and even her group of girls dancing in the washroom.
Bipasha is now upset with the leaked birthday party video and tweeted that : "Jst bcoz v r actors doesn’t mean v r nt entitled 2 our privacy! These troublemakers shld jst get more productive with their time!" Followed by another tweet: "I’m still in shock tht my privacy hs been invaded! Actor Saikumar’s son Aadi is presently busy with the shooting of his second Telugu film titled "Lovely".Currently the film unit is picturing a song on lead pair in exotic locales of Kerala and the speciality of that song is it is being shot with six cameras.Bollywood choreographer Sabina Khan is supervising this song. A debutant heroine Shanvi is playing the female lead role in this film.
Director Madhusudhan Rao passed away!
Veteran Tollywood director V. Madhusudhan Rao died today (January 11th, 2012). He was born on July 27th, 1917 in a village Peyyaru in Krishna District.He was 95. He entered into film industry as a director with the film “Sathi Thulasi” in 1959.
V. Madhusudhan Rao was a famous Telugu cinema director and script writer with many successful movies like Antasthulu, Aradhana, Mallepuvvu, Angadi Bomma and krishnaveni. He was also known with the other names MadhuSudhan Rao VeeraMachineni and V. Madhusudhana Rao.He introduced the Akkineni Nagarjuna to the film industry with the film Victory.He was directed a film "Kanchana Ganga" under Usha Kiran movies banner.
He was awarded Raghupathi Venkaiah Award by the Andhra Pradesh Government in 1997.

Comedian Vennela Kishore, who got fame in Tollywood with the film Vennela is debuting as director with the film Vennela 1½, which is a sequel to the film Vennela, which was directed by Dev Katta.The film has been completed the entire shooting of the film and presently the movie post-production works are on progress.Major part of the film was shot in Bangkok and Thailand.
Katrina in Rajinikanth Kochadaiyaan
Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif has bagged the most sought-after role of playing the female lead besides superstar Rajinikanth in Kochadaiyaan movie. Reports say that the negotiations are on with the actress who is currently shooting for Yash Chopra’s film. Katrina has assured the makers of the dates in the next few months. Even Soundarya Rajinikanth confirmed the same saying, "Yes, we are indeed in talks with Katrina and we will let you know soon."
"In Kochadaiyaan, Rajinikanth plays a king, a devotee of Lord Shiva. His love story with Katrina, their songs, will be shot on an impressive scale it seems A R Rahman is scoring the music and he is roping in 130 musicians from Germany to record the background score.
