Producers of Mahesh Babu, Samanta starring ‘dookudu’ have not only established new industry records but are also moving at swift speed to get their hold on both production and distribution areas. As they are to begin next flick with Super Star in this year in the direction of Sukumar, we hear of ‘Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’ and ‘Vennela 11/2’ theatrical rights going into their hand for a decent amount. As per the reports, ‘Vennela’ Kishore directorial debut flick ‘Vennela 11/2’ distribution rights of Andhra Pradesh are bagged by ‘dookudu’ team of producers and ‘SVSC’ Overseas rights are brought much earlier by them paying Rs.6 Crores to Dil Raju. This will be a new set of record which shows that ‘dookudu’ makers are showing full ‘dookudu.’

Strange are the ways in film land. One enters into the glam field with a hope to excel in one department but end up in another. That is what we call the Theory of Struggle for Existence. Babai - Abbai Fights to Begin

Summer season of 2012 will see ‘Chacha - Bhatija’ Jodi or that is ‘Babai – Abbai’ Jodi vying with each other as big ticket pictures have been lined up for the vacation. What we refer here is about Konidela Babai Pawan Kalyan, Konidela Abbai ramcharan and Nandamuri Babai Balakrishna, Nandamuri Abbai Junior NTR fighting out in middle with their respective releases.  NTR is coming up with ‘Dammu’ while Balakrishna is all set to show three faces in his ‘Adhinayakudu.’ Next will be Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Gabbar Singh’ and ramcharan’s ‘Rachcha’ also scheduled for summer releases. Audio of ‘Dammu’ is slated for March 24 release and MM Keeravani is music director while Trisha and Karthika will be seen romancing Tarak, directed by Boyapati Srinu.  ‘Adhinayakudu’ is the flick in which Balakrishna plays roles of grandfather, father and son has Jayasudha, Lakshmi Rai and Saloni to pair with three generations is directed by Parachuri Murali and Kalyani Malik has scored the music. Audio is already released into market.   Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Gabbar Singh’ is going according to schedule and in all likelihood will catch the summer rush. The film is a remake of ‘Dabangg’ and the audio is all set for launch early next month with Harish Shankar planning it on a large scale. Devi Sri Pasad is the music director of the film. For ‘Rachcha,’ the hype is seen at audio launch yesterday. Let us see, who will come out with flying colors...Babais or Abbais?

Rajamouli updates on 'Eega'

Unbeaten director SS Rajamouli’s upcoming film is ‘eega.’ Off late, it is not the date of release but postponement of audio and release date of this film has become news for everybody. Well, obviously when it is a flick from Rajamouli…one does not mind about the time because Rajamouli has become a brand of trust for commercial entertainers in South film industry. Now, the science fiction film ‘eega’ update is here. Audio of the film is slated for March 30 release. Rajamouli posted on Twitter, ‘The audio release of eega has been postponed to March 30th. Will inform d release date shortly CG shots for the trailer needed a bit more time.’ So, Jakkanna is deep struck into work making all the best possible efforts to get the film complete at earliest possible.

As per their calculations, the movie's business in entire South India crosses the mark of Rs. 50 crores business as the movie is likely to be dubbed in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.Since it is a Hindi movie, naturally Overseas business as well as satellite rights figures will be much more than that of Telugu films. If the business figures of entire North Indian states are taken into consideration, definitely the movie's pre release business crosses the mark of 100 cr. However, Mahesh Babu was said to have rejected their protests and subsequently, Nasser replaced prakash raju. rajamouli's latest tweet about his movie, 'Eega', says that 'It takes revenge on humans in an intelligent way and it will be great to see it on screen'. However, many people are curious about what that 'intelligent way of killing is'. Here is the answer for their curiosity. As per the sources close to the film unit, that particular 'Eega', who is said to be the hero of the film, kills its enemies using a weapon. And that weapon is none other than, a 'needle'( Soodi in Telugu).  Samantha, Nani and Sudeep are the major star cast of this highly anticipated project. Currently, re-recording work of the movie is going on. 'Rachcha' First Copy Readying for Chiru

Although muscle tear for Ramcharan while shooting for a song of ‘rachcha’ has been reported, he being advised rest for three weeks. Before the speculation on release date of ‘Rachacha’ to be delayed, here is happy news on first copy of film getting readied by third week of this month except one song. Release date was tentatively said to be March 29 or April 5. But, the hairline fracture on hip bone may hamper the plans as the song is still left for shooting. Sources say that, Chiranjeevi and close members of Mega family and ‘rachcha’ team will watch the first copy in third week of March. However, the remaining song will be canned only after Charan getting fully fit as injury is to hamper his movements and choreographer has to tone down the speed. After filtering nearly 1000 stories, they have finalized three of which the details are as follows: 1. ‘alias janaki’ will be a love story directed by Chandu of ‘10th Class’ fame. 2. ‘A Shyam Gopal Varma Film - Naa Cinema Naa Ishtam’ will be a satirical comedy attack on never to mention the name…RGV to be directed by Rakesh Srinivas. 3. ‘Arere Arere’ is a romantic comedy entertainer to be directed by Sasikiran Tikka, a protégé of Sekhar Kammula. Films will go on sets in next month and further details will be announced at appropriate hour.
