Post ‘Pokiri, Chiruta and Desa Muduru,’ director puri jagannath passed through dark phase of career till he got some sort of respite with ‘Bbuddah and Businessman’ that are declared as safe, beneficial projects. The first and foremost difference one can observe in ‘Businessman’ compared to Puri’s earlier movies is his affinity towards penning of more and more philosophical and preachy kind of dialogues. One of a close member from Puri camp said, ‘he came against many painful times absorbing the real meaning of life. Human beings are always selfish. None care for other. After coming across such a phase, obviously dialogue writer and director in Puri has become still more matured now. These are the variety of lessons life will make each of us to learn. But, there will be a perspective difference. ‘Devudu Chesina Manushulu’ is a title which speaks too much by itself. Obviously we can enjoy more and more sour, real facts of life in this flick in the form of dialogues from Puri.’ |

Mega Power Star ram charan and V.V.Vinayak's combo movie's regular shoot was started recently. Kajal has been selected for female lead role. However, there is a scope for another heroine of the movie, and her character is said to be similar to that of Shobhana's role in Chiranjeevi's 'Rowdy Alludu' movie. If the buzz is to be believed, Amala Paul is likely to play that role. In 'Rowdy Alludu', 'Chiluka Kshemama' song was picturized between Chiranjeevi and Shobhana and that song was proved to be one of the all time hit songs of Chiranjeevi. Will the same song be shot between ram charan and Amala Paul? We still need to wait for further developments of this news. |
Top directors to grace Rachcha audio

Mega Power Star ram charan's 'Rachcha' movie's audio is releasing on 4th March at Kurnool. Although, the audio release is postponed for one week than the scheduled release date of 26th February, the makers are planning to release the movie on 29th March itself. Besides, Power Star Pawan Kalyan, who is going to be the Chief Guest of this function, many top directors from South are to grace the event. Shankar, S.S.Rajamouli, V.V.Vinayak, Srinu Vytla, Puri Jagannadh are some of the directors to be seen as guests at the venue. Currently, the post production work of the movie is going on. The expectations are high on the movie, as the leaked title song, the news of the special fight on ram charan and fighters with Rs.2 crores expenditure, Tamanna's glamour show are creating much interest among the fans. Manisharma has scored the music while Sampath Nandi is directing this flick under the banner Mega Super Good Films. |
Gunasekhar forced Raviteja for 'OA'

Generally raviteja is considered as a natural performer. Most of his mass mannerisms look quite like casual acting but never did many feel of boredom watching the same on screen. For the first time many are complaining on director Gunasekhar for playing havoc with image of raviteja in the name of ‘Nippu.’ Although the first name is famous for sculpting some cult hits, the latest release is totally out of his comfort zone. ‘Guna has forcibly attached some comedy scenes in ‘Nippu’ where in raviteja looked uncomfortable. It has become a formula for directors to confine Ravi for particular kind of monotonous characters with same body language. Guna neither struck to his original flavor nor to Ravi’s. He struck somewhere to a medieval path and the result is also same as Ravi looked like doing Over Action,’ opined a critic. |

Thanks to ‘Dookudu’ producers for being with enough patience before announcing their flick as biggest industry hit on the 100th day celebrations stage. In fact, trade reports say collections of ‘Dookudu’ stood on sustaining basis for first 50 days. Thanks to Srinu Vytla’s special efforts in designing the hilarious character for Mahesh and his entire cast. With ‘Dookudu’ mania proceeding on and on, ‘businessman’ rated as weak themed flick has also got tremendous openings. But, unluckily RR Movie Makers were little hasty in calling their film ‘Rewriting 81 Years of Telugu Industry Records.’ This isn’t going well not only for opposite hero Fans groups but also among Prince Fans too. ‘The doubt raising records announced by ‘businessman’ team is giving scope for trade analysts and Fans even to look at ‘Dookudu’ with same question mark faces. However, one might agree of ‘BM’ as a commercial success but range seems to have been over hyped for no substantial reason,’ is the famous verdict from major section of audience. |

Movie will be a bi-lingual with Tamil version titled as ‘En Endraal Kaadal Enbein.’ As entire shooting of the film neared for completion with Ram’s uncle ‘Sravanti’ Ravi Kishore making this as highest budgeted flick in our hero’s career, there are double positive reports flowing from the film unit sources. Major portion of the project is shot in Overseas. The pairing or magical chemistry between Ram, Tamanna is to live each one of us spellbound. Music from GV Prakash Kumar has got a brilliant output. With too many positives and too much of confidence, an early birdie says Ravi Kishore is quoting exuberant prices for selling this ‘endukante premanta.’ Good to see, Ram in such demand for this summer release. |
Rajamouli Eega shock to Charan Rachcha

S.S.Rajamouli's prestigious experimental project 'Eega's audio is releasing on 22nd March in Hyderabad. Nani, Samantha and Sudeep are the lead cast of the film. As per the director, the story of the movie is how a house fly takes revenge on villain of the film. Right now, the makers are planning to release the movie on 5th April. Apparently, a big clash is going to be happened between Ram Charan's 'Rachcha' and 'Eega'. Currently, the makers of 'Rachcha' are planning to release the movie on 29th March or 5th April. If that is the case, both the movies will have a clash at the box office. Can an 'Eega' defeat 'Rachcha'? We have to wait and see for the results. |
Similarity Between Rambabu n Bangaram

'bangaram', the movie that was released in 2006 tasted just average to below average result at the box office. Power Star Pawan Kalyan in that movie was seen as a crime reporter of a TV channel. However, the tasks endorsed to him were not well portrayed. Also, the movie couldn't grab the attention of the people as everybody at that time were in the mesmerism of 'Pokiri'. Finally, 'bangaram' was ended up with collecting just 12 crores share, '140' 50 days centers and 5 hundred days centers. 'Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu' is the latest project of Pawan Kalyan, in which he will be seen as reporter of a TV news channel again. Puri Jagannadh is the director of this movie. As per Pawan Kalyan's fans, the director must be careful in presenting Pawan Kalyan in this crucial role well, so that the bitter experience of 'bangaram' would not be repeated. The result is out and trade sources are giving full marks to director Veerabhadram’s handling of sunil’s image in both comedy and action format while Gunasekhar has took the beating unable to match the energy levels of Mass Maharaja. As per the reports, sunil collected Rs.1.65 Crores approximately alone in Nizam area with first three days run of ‘PR” while ‘Nippu’ stood no where near to it. More good news for sunil is that film has bright chances of picking up in coming weeks. However cold waters are already poured on ‘Nippu’ collections wise. It is a known thing that hero gopichand's would have been father- in- law, Mr.Rambabu, committed suicide due to the last minute cancellation of the marriage of his daughter Haritha and Gopichand. Everybody, took pity on the demise of the industrialist and reportedly, started cursing Gopichand for attempting the break up. However, the version of Gopichand's family members is different on this issue. According to them, Haritha put many conditions to Gopichand which are said to be difficult to implement. Having understood that he can't fulfill her conditions, Gopichand is said to have come to an understanding with her and finally it led to the cancellation of the marriage. If this is the version of Gopichand's family, we have to wait and see who is right and who is wrong on this unfortunate incident. |

Veturi wins laurels at Padutha Theeyaga

padutha theeyaga enthralled viewers on Mahasivatri with its special show dedicated to Lord Siva and the participants pitched in with devotional songs to suit the event. Anchor SP Balasubrahmanyam was at his best and along with the participants (in dress and content) and the Chief Guest Tanikela Bharani used the platform to voice his verses on Lord Siva, which were simple and down-to-earth. His rendering evoked good round of applause. Selecting songs on Lord Siva, the young singers enthralled the audience from the tastefully decorated stage which has an imposing Sivalingam and a striking Nandi. While the songs of the special edition, not in the competition mould, were taken from old and new films Kiratarjuneeyam from Bhakta Kannappa won the laurels from one and all. The programme, which is losing its sheen of late, has come to life with this edition and the best part of the episode was the standing ovation to lyricist Veturi Sundararama Murthy for his sublime and stunning songs, a couple of them picked up by singers for the special occasion. |

Media has been playing up her link up with various eligible hunks in town and the recent being Rana, Trisha says with a winsome smile: “I take these rumours as another occupational hazard. Some of the rumours are hilarious and I laugh it off. I get along well with Rana and we are good friends."
She also confirms that she is planning to get married soon. "I don’t want to say that marriage is a far-off thought as I have to first meet the right guy. And frankly are there no men left? Atleast, I’ve not met someone I like and is my type. Right now let me enjoy my singleton space (laughs)”.
Giribabu conferred with a doctorate

Born in a village Ravinuthala in Prakasham district, Giribabu started his film career in1973 and acted in about 550 films in various characters. He also produced films on his banner Jayabheri Art Pictures.
His son Raghu Babu is now leading character artiste cum comedian in Telugu films.
"I have been working for the development of my village in Prakasha district and also donated 1.25 acres of land for TTD Kalyana Mandapam and in 2008 I built a cricket play ground there. And many other development works are being done at my village," Giribabu said.
Producer P Mallikarjuna Rao passes away
He produced several hit movies like Kantharao starrerJwaladweepa Rahasyam (1965) and Iddaru Mongallu (1967),Akkineni starrer Manchi Kutumbam (1968), Shoban Babu's Manchi Mitrulu (1969) and Inti Gowravam (1970), Krishna's Nenante Nene (1968), Inti Kodalu (1974) etc. In Hindi too, he had many hits including Jitendra starrer Himmat (1970), Dharmendra and Rekha starrer Keemat (1973), Gulzar directed Mausam, K Viswnath directed Sanjog (1985) and Eeshwar (1989). Born in Krishna district on July 27, 1935, Parvathaneni Mallikarjuna Rao is survived by a wife and two sons. |
TANA announces Short film contest
TANA Announces “Short Film Contest” on International Mother Language Day.
Prasad Thotakura, TANA President and Murali Vennam, 19th TANA Convention Coordinator said - on International Mother Language Day, we announce a Short Film Contest to promote and perpetuate Telugu, our mother tongue. It is very important for all of us to remind ourselves how to save our great language from the current waning stage. International Mother Language Day is annually celebrated on February 21st around the world. The main objective of this observance is to promote linguistic and cultural diversity and multilingualism.
Telugu People across the globe can participate in this competition. We solicit films made up to a maximum of five minutes focusing on the current status of usage of Telugu Language and its future.The content of the film should be message /solution oriented. The concept is “Mana Telugu Bhasha nu brathikinchu kundam”.
Participants can contest by emailing their videos as YouTube film links. There is no entry-fee . A panel of judges Chaired by renowned Movie Director, Mr. Sekhar Kammula will judge the best entrees. Best selected films will be shown at the upcoming 19th TANA Convention to be held at Dallas Convention Center in Dallas, Texas from July 4th – 6th, 2013 and also winners will be awarded on the main stage.

International Mother Language Day is annually held on February 21st to celebrate languages spoken worldwide. It also observes the human right to use these languages. International Mother Language Day was proclaimed by the General Conference of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in 1999 and it was first observed on February 21, 2000.
