Ram Charan’s strong reply to Critics

It has become a custom for Ram Charan’s films to get bad reviews on the first day and do tremendously well at the Box Office. Charan’s latest film Govindudu Andarivadele is not an exception. This film got mixed reviews on its first day and few sections of media tried very hard to kill the movie in many ways. However, GAV gave a strong reply to all the critics and shut all the wagging tongues with a wonderful show at the box office.

Govindudu Andarivadele collected over 35 crore rupees share (global) in its first week. It has surpassed Race Gurram’s first week’s tally to reach the top three list of all time best opening week collections. Attarintiki Daredi is still sitting on top of this list and Charan’s Yevadu holds second place. Govindudu Andarivadele is a very slow paced family film without much comedy and mass friendly elements. A film of this genre to get such big numbers is not a joke.
Although GAV got benefitted by the Holiday period, it has done exceptionally well for its genre. It is still doing steady business at the box office and is sure to make it to the forty crore club by the end of this week. GAV’s numbers could have been better had the reviews been in favor of the movie. Bad reviews have affected its prospects especially in US. That said, GAV has done well in US despite bad reviews. It has collected better than previous hits of Ram Charan in this region.

Vacation Time For Mahesh Babu

Superstar Mahesh Babu took a break from his busy schedule to spend some quality time with his family. Reports say that the Superstar left for Bangkok along with his family and they will also visit Malaysia. Our sources say that Mahesh will be back to India in the third week of October and he will join the sets of his new film with Koratala Siva on October 19, 2014.

Principal shooting will begin from October 9th and as per his sentiment, Mahesh will join the sets on October 19th. Shruti Haasan is the leading lady opposite to Mahesh and Devi Sri Prasad is the music director. Speculations were made around the web that titles like Kannayya and Magaadu were under consideration but Koratala Siva has confirmed that their team didn’t thought of any title as of now.

Mahesh Babu had two releases in 2014 (Nenokkadine, Aagadu) and both the film failed at the box-office. This untitled film is produced under Mythri Movie Makers banner by Yerneni Naveen, Yalamanchali Ravishankar and CV Mohan.

Nagarjuna Changed His Mind

‘Shiva’, the 25 year old game changer of Telugu cinema became a sudden buzz everywhere. Yesterday, majority of Siva’s cast and crew including director Ram Gopal Varma, hero Nagarjuna, heroine Amala and others have held a special media meet to celebrate the event.

Till that moment, there were no plans to re-release this iconic movie. In a bid to restore the age-old film output of ‘Shiva’, Annapurna Studios has spent a bomb to digitally scan and restore the movie. The whole of post-production process for this 1989 release happened in Mumbai and right now a high-res print is ready.

Nagarjuna has now decided to re-release this flick in select theatres across the world, once he finds a suitable date and availability of screens. Probably Siva might bag a record for re-release, as audiences are quite keen to watch it again on silver screen. Get ready for the soon-to-come feast folks.

Don’t Build Temple for Me: Top Heroine

It’s common feature for Tamil Tambhis to go gaga over their favourite heroines and even build temples for them. They have shown their love on yesteryear actress Kushboo and build a temple for her in Tamil Nadu. Later there were similar reports of building a temple for actress Simran who enthralled in Tamil and Telugu films by her Tamil fans.

And the latest heroine to make this rare spot among fans is actress Nayantara. A few die-hard fans have recently approached Nayantara and expressed their wish to build temple for her. They, however, told her that they don’t need “funds” but said all they need is her “approval” and “support” to the project. However, Nayan gently turned down their request and said, “Please don’t build any temple for me. Thanks for your love and support.” That’s Nayantara’s humble request for her fans and fans do oblige her appeal. 

Comedy Star blasts Superstars ?

If rumours are to be believed, comedy star Allari Naresh, who is one of the bankable star for small budget movies, has reportedly lashed out at superstars for spoiling the genre of comedy. Instead of taking names, the Seematapakai star felt that big stars doing comedy instead of doing action roles and larger-than-life roles are leaving no space with small actors like him.

In a private conversation with a young director, son of EVV, felt that small stars survive on ‘comedy’ whereas big stars can do different themes, since they have a established fan following, but they shouldn’t get into a smaller zone by doing comedy flicks. With Pawan, Mahesh, NTR, Prabhas doing comic-driven roles, his worry looks, reasonable. 

Brahmanandam to set New Record

Ace comedian Brahmanandam is on the verge of setting new record in the history of Indian Cinema. Brahmanandam this year is going to complete his 1000th film and the star comedian is just three movies away to achieve this feat. Brahmi is close to the landmark 1000th film and is all excited. Talking about this, Brahmi openly admitted, “Earlier I had a feeling that I’m the sole responsible for my success which I later realized that without divine support, I’d not have achieved anything in my life. All the credit goes to God. It’s he who made it possible. After my stint as a lecturer in college, I forayed into films and came a long way. I’ve done 997 films so far. Loukyam is my 997th movie. Nothing could have been possible, without God.”

At a time, star heroes like Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna are contemplating to do 150th film and 100th film respectively, Brahmi is close to 1000 films and 1000 is not just a small figure. It’s not exaggerated to say that star heroes, big directors and producers insists on having Brahmi in the film and they believe he is the money minter at Box Office. 

In his vast career spanning across 27 years, Brahmi experimented with myriad roles. He bagged a spot in the prestigious Guinness World Records in 2007 for acting in over 754 Telugu films. Censor Talk: Govindudu Is Real Treat

The big marathons of big films that have hit Tollywood in last couple of months have literally disappointed many cine lovers as none could match expectations. But it seems like Ram Charan is going to suffice the hunger, as we hear the ‘talk’ from Censor Board.

Censored with U/A, Govindudu Andarivadele is gearing up for a ‘mega’ release on October 1st as scheduled. Reports have that the whole film has loads of comedy, sentiment, peak emotions and romance. As songs are quite romantic in trademark Krishna Vamsi style and some ‘cozy’ scenes between Charan and Kajal are slightly above boundaries, GAV fetched this U/A certificate, say sources.

However Censor Board members got struck with the clean portrayal of family bonding and lauded Krishnavamsi’s unconventional approach. Insiders felt that Govindudu is going to be another 45+ crore wonder in Charan’s career. Let us wait till October 1st before making any conclusions.

This time Ram Gopal Vara showcased his love for Tollywood Legend, greatest actor Viswa Vikhyata Nata Sarva Bhowma NTR. He said as far as his knowledge, NTR has many great qualities than Lord Krishna and Lord Rama.

He went on to add that whenever he remembers any God, NTR comes into picture and reasoned out that it is probably due to the roles he did it. He said he respects and adores NTR not only as a actor but also as a political leaders. Though many earlier lavished praises on NTR saying they remember NTR whenever they think of Rama and Krishna, Ramu is the first one to say NTR is greater than Rama and Krishna.

But critics are blasting him questioning how could Ramu know the qualities of God, when he don’t believe in God. Wonder what answer Ramu gives to them?

Pawan’s film will start after his Gopala Gopala and Gabbar Singh 2. Pawan proved he is very very special star.

'1-Nenokkadine' Business to Close Soon?

Prince mahesh babu's '1-Nenokkadine', though, received very poor response from the audiences, could manage to collect Rs.24.67 crores in its first week run world wide, thanks to the festive season of Pongal. With aggressive promotions by the makers, and for chopping off the film's length for 20 minutes, the movie was expected to pick up momentum in its second week's run. However, nothing of that sort is happening.  As per the trade reports, the movie collected a share of just Rs.20 lakhs in AP on its 11th day of release. In many areas the movie collected Rs.1 lakh, Rs.2 lakhs etc. In Nizam, the movie collected Rs.7 lakhs. The main theaters such as Kakinada- S1 theater with Rs.4000, Rajahmundry- Kumari theater with Rs.1500 got day deficits. Wish that the movie picks p momentum in the second weekend.

'Yevadu' Malayalam Version's Release Date!!

Mega Power Star Ram Charan's blockbuster film 'Yevadu's Malayalam version 'bhaiyya' was earlier supposed to be released on 12th January, the same day of Telugu version's release. However, due to the delay in post production work of the film, the released date has been deferred. Buzz is that the makers are planning to release the movie on 31st of January. Since Allu Arjun and Ram Charan have good craze in Kerala, the movie is expected to do good business in Kerala. K.Manju has acquired the Malayalam version's rights with a fancy price. 'Yevadu' features Shruthi Haasan and Amy Jackson as the lady leads while Kajal was seen in cameo role. Music of the movie was composed by Devi Sri Prasad. Vamsi Pydipally directed the movie on Sri Venkateswara Creations.

Pawan Kalyan Friendly Gesture

Many times in past during audio releases, Pawan Kalyan openly stated about his close friendship with comedian Ali. Rarely do we see Pawan’s movies without a character for Ali. There is even a gossip that Pawan recommends his directors to pen a role for Ali without affecting the story and script. Such is Pawan’s fondness for this senior comedian. Long in the past, Ali started his career also as a hero with blessings of SV Krishna Reddy but lost the track somewhere in middle. Now, Ali is coming up with a new movie of ‘ali baba okkade donga’ ready for release. KTR Reveals NTR's Stand on Telangana!

Some days ago, the TRS leader K.Taraka Ramarao shocked every one and all showing the evidences of the stand of then number one heroes of tollywood, ntr and ANR on the state's division. As per the evidences shown by ktr,  ntr and ANR openly requested the central government to divide the state to stop 'Jai Andhra' agitations. This statement was seen on the newspapers of 18th February,1973. Apart from above number one heroes, some more biggies of tollywood stood in support of state's division then. Meanwhile, ktr reiterated the stand of NTR and ANR in state's assembly on 21st January during the discussions of T-bill. Meanwhile, ktr also made some controversial statements on the idols at Tank Bund.

Cherry n Boyapati Srinu's Movie Confirmed?

If the buzz is to be believed, Mega Power Star ram charan will be working with the director Boyapati Srinu soon. The director has reportedly narrated a story to ram charan and the latter has given his nod to the project. KL Narayana will produce this movie. If everything goes well, the movie will go on floors in the month of June or July. In fact, Boyapati Srinu narrated a story line to Cherry long time ago. But the movie was not materialized. Later, Boyapati worked with NTR for 'Dammu'. Boyapati Srinu is currently working with Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna's 'Legend' movie. On the other hand, ram charan is working with Creative director Krishna Vamsi for a family entertainer. Kajal will be seen opposite to him. Bandla Ganesh is producing the movie on Parameswara Art Productions.

Aishwarya Rai in Nag-Mahesh Multi-Starrer?

There have been wide range of speculations that King Nagarjuna and Prince Mahesh Babu will be working for a multi-starrer in the direction of Maniratnam. The latest development in the project is that All India glamorous heroine aishwarya rai is also going to be the part of this film. She is expected to pair up with Nagarjuna in the film. Maniratnam, himself, will be producing this Telugu, Tamil bilingual on his Madra Talkies banner. Aishwarya made her film debut in Maniratnam's 'Iruvar'. And now, her comeback movie will also be directed by Maniratnam. Meanwhile, Nagarjuna is currently busy with his ongoing Akkinnenis multi-starrer movie 'Manam'. Akkineni Nageswara Rao No More

Legendary Telugu veteran artist akkineni nageswara rao who made Indian film industry proud with his memorable services is no more. He died early in the morning hours today at Care Hospitals suffering with Cancer. The news is officially confirmed by ANR son Nagarjuna before media. ANR is suffering with deadly cancer diagnosed very recently. He then organized a family press meet to clear the news to media people and requested the Fans not to rush for his home expressing the sympathy. Later on, ANR looked to be in sound condition attending the shooting of family muti star flick 'Manam.' Though media speculated ANR's death nearly two to three weeks ago but Nagarjuna and Sumanth quashed the rumors. However, they could not stop the sad thing to happen. ANR was born on 20th September, 1924 in Venkata Raghava Puram and studied only to class four before entering into films with 'Dharma Pathni.' Now, his last movie is 'Manam' still to release. ANR enjoyed a complete life of acting with 75 years of career spanning in different roles. He was an inspiration and one of the main pillars in shifting the Tollywood from Chennai to Hyderabad and thus also happened the establishment of Annapurna Studios. Cinejosh prays for ANR's soul to rest in peace.

His 'Annapurna Studios' is one of the leading film studios of tollywood.  * He enjoyed the status of number one apart from NTR. Both NTR and anr were considered to be two eyes of tollywood. anr acted in 256 films and most of the films were proved to be industry hits, blockbusters, super hits and hits. He was one of the few heroes of tollywood to have good success percentage.  * anr's son Venkat settled as a producer while anr's second son Nagarjuna took the legacy of his father as one of the superstars of tollywood. anr's grandsons Sumanth,Sushanth, Naga Chaitanya have also settled as heroes while another grandson Akhil is making his debut to tollywood soon. * anr had no school education. Even then, he had become one of the good orators of both in Telugu as well as in English. His speeches appear as if he were the personality development trainer. In fact, everybody can learn a lot from the life of anr, as the latter has grown to this stage with his hard work, dedication towards his profession and strong determination to achieve his goals.
