The wait has been extended abnormally very large for the release of ‘Adhinayakudu.’ Apparently, public has lost the excitement on flick but situation of distributors and exhibitors is more pathetic. As soon as the first trailer of film was released long ago, distributors and exhibitors who have enormous faith on Balayya Babu paid good sums to Producer bagging the area wise theatrical rights. Now that release of ‘Adhinyakudu’ has fallen in doldrums, particularly some of the exhibitors in Andhra Pradesh and Overseas areas are crying with their money struck up.  Business runs as long as there is a flow of goods and money in different directions. ‘Adhinyakudu’ has stalled the precious investments of many exhibitors and producer ML Kumar Chowdary still continues to struggle with release date. Let us wish that, Balakrishna will bail the film out of troubles. As of now, there is unreliable news of 'Adhinayakudu' slated for a release in first week of June.

The much talked about item song in ‘Department’ with sexy Indo-Brazilian model Nathalia Kaur opening it widely has received a flake. While RGV has efficiently used the name and titillating poses of Nathalia as biggest promotional tool for movie but the final result was disastrous. In fact, the moves of Nathalia are although fine they could not satisfy the hype and hoopla created around the song ‘Dan Dan Cheeni…’ Surely, we might need those eyes of RGV to praise the inner beauties of Nathalia which our perverted film maker was repeatedly stressing on. Varma absolutely smitten by the red hot looks of Nathalia has even confirmed another project ‘Andam’ with Rana where in a hot photo shoot was also conducted. Now that the sex bomb has miserably failed to explode, whether RGV will carry the same relation and commitment with Nathalia? Will this be an end to ‘Andam’? Apparently, producer Bandla Ganesh Babu is behaving adamant like his hero by keeping away from official declaration of ‘Gabbar Singh’ collections. Perhaps, trade analysts are up with their paper work to come with solid inference on a possible danger of ‘Dookudu’ records to get washed away by the non-stop inflows of ‘Gabbar Singh.’ Irrespective of domestic and overseas markets, Pawan Mania continues to do the magic churning huge collections even in this second week.  In many centers, ‘Gabbar Singh’ crossed ‘Dookudu’ by a record margin in first week. 'Panjaa' Director in talks with Nag & Ravi

Most stylish director Vishnuvardhan seems to have bid a good bye to Telugu films with flop result of ‘Panjaa’ but he sure have plans to maintain good relations with Telugu star heroes. That’s the reason why, he is holding talks with Nagarjuna, Raviteja and Jagapathi Babu to play guest roles in his upcoming bi-lingual with Ajith as hero and produced by AM Rathnam of Surya Movies. Other than these, remaining star cast for this untitled flick is Arya, Nayanathara and Tapsee along with Malayalam top star Prithviraj. The list appears perfectly fit to call this project as a multi-lingual - multi-starrer. Producer AM Rathnam is optimistic to announce his grand come back with this high budget venture. ‘I will make an announcement very soon. We are working on various possibilities,’ said AM Rathnam.

Big Threat Ahead for 'Daruvu'

Mass Maharaj Ravi Teja's 'Daruvu' movie is all set to release on 25th of this month. As of now, we have thought that everything is finely set for the safe release of the movie on the stipulated date. However, all of a sudden the movie appears to be facing some sorts of problems on its release day, due to the latest political developments in the state.As per the details,  the YSR Party's head Mr Y.S.Jaganmohan Reddy will have to appear before CBI on 25th of this month.In connection with this, 144 section is being imposed in Hyderabad and some other parts of the state from 24th onwards. Prince Mahesh Babu's 'Dookudu' was released on 23rd September, 2011 and stood as the number one hit of the year. Also, the movie occupied the second position among the list of all time top grossers of tollywood by the  time of the release of the movie. The movie ran 50 days in 237 centers and 100 days in 39 centers. After a huge gap of 9 months, the makers of the movie reportedly decided to celebrate100 days function of the movie. The venue and the date of the function are yet to be revealed officially. However, many people across the state are expressing their surprise for the sudden decision of the makers to conduct the 100 days function of the movie.Many analysts are coming forward to trace out the reasons for the decision of the makers. They also listed out the appreciations and the criticisms being received by the makers for their decision. Check out the details below. Creative film maker Krishna Vamsi always tries to awaken the people on social responsibility through his hard hitting films. He takes up burning social issues of current relevance as his story elements…may it be ‘Sindhuram’ or ‘Khadgam’ or ‘Rakhi’ or ‘Mahatma.’ Apparently, he is out of form from last few flicks and is ready to take a shot on corrupt politicos now through new flick titled as ‘Paisa’ starring Nani in lead. Reports say that, KV has attempted to reveal the reasons behind quick rise of Jagan Mohan Reddy and also gone for few potshots at Botsa Satyanarayana for the illicit liquor scam. In particular, the way Jagan amassed immense wealth in short period is thoroughly analyzed by KV without taking the name of YSR except few of his video clips used.  As per the story of ‘Paisa,’ a character is inspired by Jagan and how it dreams to become Chief Minister becomes the pivotal point in story where in Nani plays a young politician. However producer Ramesh Puppala says, ‘there are no real life inspirations in designing the characters of our film. This is a story which projects present political situation in state and few greedy people piling up huge wealth. Nani is not playing any Jagan.’

In this connection, he reportedly asked the director to shoot a marriage song on him for the movie 'Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu'. Balayya to do 'Aditya 369' Sequel

Here is a wonderful news for Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna's fans. Balakrishna is going to do the sequel of 'Aditya 369', which was released in the year,1991. Balakrishna performed dual roles in the movie. In one of these roles, he was seen as King Sri Krishna Devaraaya. His performance was terrific in both the roles.Songs like 'Jaanavule' etc.are unforgettable even today.Although the movie received many accolades from the critics, it stood as an average grosser at the box office. As per the review writers, the director Singeetham Srinivasara handled present and past days extremely well. However, he could not shot well, the scenes which come in future as per the story.  The sequel of 'Aditya 369' will be directed by Singeetham Srinivasa Rao and will be produced by Vinod. This movie will be presented by Konda Krishnam Raju. This movie will go to floors in the month of August. The official announcement of this movie will be made on 10th June, in connection with the birthday of Balakrishna.

'Rachcha' goes for 50 @ 150

Ramcharan’s mass action entertainer ‘Rachcha,’ directed by Sampat Nandi with Tamanna as heroine has set the new records in Tollywood with its opening collections. Now, the film has reached a remarkable mile stone of completing 50 days of run in 150 centers of which 142 are direct and nearly 8 are on shifting basis.  Post ‘Orange’ when Mega Power Star has hit the all time low in his short spanned career, young director Sampat Nandi came up with this subject of ‘Rachcha’ to give a new lease to Cherry’s innings. While Sampat has joined the big league of directors with this single hit, Charan gained energy to announce three projects at a time viz. one with VV Vinayak, second is ‘Yevadu’ and the third one is ‘Zanjeer.’   In the current trend of makers satisfying with mere opening records, rarely do we see a film achieving 50 and 100 days mark. Wish that, ‘Rachcha’ will go ahead to complete 100 days in decent number of centers. As of now, entire 'Rachcha' team is quite happy with this Mega Hit.

Pawan to do CBI JD Lakshmi Narayana!?

Power Star pawan kalyan is at cloud nine on the tremendous success of 'Gabbar Singh'. Currently, the director Krish is making a movie, 'Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum'. Rana and Nayantara are the leading star cast of this movie. Meanwhile, Krish is said to have designed a special role for the movie and this role is quite similar to the real life character of CBI Joint Director, Lakshmi  Narayana. Krish is said to have approached pawan kalyan to do this special role. However, pawan kalyan is yet to give his nod to do this role.  Meanwhile, the movie 'Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum' mainly deals with the land mining mafia which is one of the burning topics of the state.Rana will be seen is six pack abs in this movie.Manisharma is composing the music of this film. 'Endukante Premanta' Postponed Again

Energetic Star Ram's 'Endukante Premanta' movie was earlier planned to release on 1st June. In a latest development the movie has been postponed to 8th June. As per the sources close to the film unit, Balakrishna's 'Adhinayakudu' is releasing on 1st June. To avoid clash with that movie, 'Endukante Premanta' was postponed to 8th June.In fact, the movie had to be released on 11th May. However, the movie was postponed then, due to the release of Pawan Kalyan's 'Gabbar Singh'. We have to wait and see whether the makers stick with the new date of release of the movie or not. Milky beauty Tamannah plays the love interest of Ram.G.V.Prakash is scoring the music. Karunakaran is directing this romantic entertainer. Sravanthi  Ravi Kishore is the producer of this film.

Director Srinivas Reddy appears to have well utilized their rapport. In particular, the delightful kiss from Nag to Anushka (as seen above) suggests of ‘Damarukam’ going to be high on romance quotient. However, film is made with a socio fantasy subject but who cares… Anushka and Nagarjuna together on screen will be much more captivating than all. Wait till July to enjoy a treat of their real chemistry.

Can Karunakaran win like 'Darling'?

‘Endukante Premanta’ is not going to be a regular romantic tale of Karunakaran’s style. Sources state, there is a distinctive thrill weaved with Ghost Concept which would be revealed at Interval Block. Something similar was done by Karunakaran in ‘Darling’ saying that entire first half is just a no-use visualization of Hero while second half connects with main story. That’s the greatness in scripting of Karunkaran which absolutely worked for ‘Darling’ only due to presence of Prabhas. Can Ram do the same magic for ‘EP’ as what Prabhas did for ‘Darling’? Though there can’t be any resemblances between these two flicks its the poetic style of narration which Karunakaran uses in his films with superb montages and sensible humor become value additions only when basic story and script are highly strengthened. So, it depends more on how Karunakaran exploited the love track between Ram and Tamanna which forms core of ‘EP.’ Wish that, new experimentation from this screenplay magician offers him a big success.

Into the pre-climax of summer season, more numbers of movies are expected to roll out. With ‘Eega’ and ‘Endukante Premanta’ going further back, this week we have Raviteja’s ‘Daruvu’ and Charanraj’s ‘Yadartha Prema Katha’ releasing in near by theatres.  Mass Maharaja is abundantly confident on ‘Daruvu’ to bring the winning charm after a series of flops hitting his career badly. Directed by Siva of ‘Souryam’ fame, ‘Daruvu’ will be a full length entertainer with Ravi seen in five different getups and Tapsee is the heroine while music composed by Vijay Antony has got mixed response. Secondly, we have villain artist Charanraj turning a producer cum director to cash upon the instant success of song ‘Anitha O Anitha…’ has made ‘Nagaraju - Anitha: Yadartha Prema Katha’ with new faces. Is 'Gabbar Singh' against Pawanism?

Never have we seen a Pawan Kalyan’s movie getting too much into aggressive promotion strategies and producer of the respective film involved in to study of marketing techniques. In fact, heard many times that Pawan never encourages overt publicity of his movies because he strongly believes in acceptance of public to decide the fate of a film and never advocates advertisement. As said earlier, promotion is most important tool for film business but when it comes to facets of Pawanism, the past flicks of Pawan haven’t seen such ballyhoo as what we are witnessing today with ‘Gabbar Singh.’ Not leaving any of the Telugu regional channels, ‘GS’ is everywhere in one form or the other. It might be music director DSP or director Harish Shankar explaining the greatness of their project or a big bundle of trailers continuously played for five to six minutes. Of course, when market verdict for ‘GS’ is unanimously Super Duper Blockbuster, some are questioning why is Ganesh going against Pawanism?  When few of the Power Star Fans are questioned on this, they answered, ‘publicity can be done to an extent where in people are to be informed on positives about the film but public should not be forcibly pulled to theatres. We hope, ‘GS’ is not doing the second.’

Director Shankar threatened against Asin

Orthodox custodians of Tamil Culture in Tamil Nadu are no more considering Asin as their girl. Perhaps, Mallu Babe has grown to top position with the blessings of Tamil audience, Tamil heroes and Tamil directors. As soon as news about director Shankar planning to rope in Asin as heroine besides Vikram in his next project has come out in headlines, the organization of Hindu Makkal Katchi has issued a threatening call to Shankar to drop his idea.
