kamal hassan was in town last night for the audio release. People came to droves to see him. The function was the release of music album of Rushi released by Aditya music. Producer Ramesh Prasad said that the album has come up very well. Rushi has been made with a good sotry and he hoped that the audience will like it. Director, Hero and Heroine were thanked Ramesh Prasad for the opportunity and expressed their confidence over the movie success. Audio CD was released by Kamala Hassan and handed over to star producer D Ramanaidu. Snigdha and Yugander have composed the music for this film. The event was graced by Kamala Hassan, Ramanaidu, Ramesh Prasad, Aravind krishna, Singda and others. Supriya Sailaja is the female lead in this film.

Ram Charan's wedding in June?

ram charan got engaged to Upasana Kamineni in December. It was expected that the wedding date will be announced soon after the engagement. However there was no such announcement. Chiranjeevi and ram charan later said that the wedding will take some more time. ram charan is now busy with Racha. The film will be wrapped up in a couple of months. After that ram charan was eupposed to begin work for Yevadu. Now the film may have to wait as Charan will take a break from work for his marriage.

According to sources the wedding date has now been finalized. The wedding will take place in June. The exact date will be announced later. Meanwhile the preparations are on in full swing. The wedding will be a glittering affair with the who’s who attending the event. There is also some talk that Chiranjeevi may hold a reception in Tirupathi for his fans.

The two films – ravi teja’s Nippu and Sunil’s Poolarangadu are making more news even before their release. The films are getting postponed again and again. This is naturally leading to a lot of speculation in the media as to what  exactly is the cause for the postponement. Both the films were originally in the Sankranthi race. Poolarangadu got postponed to February 3 and again later to February 10. Now the latest is that Poolarangadu has been postponed once again and it will now hit the screens only on February 18. ravi teja’s Nippu is releasing on February 17. So it will be a direct clash between ravi teja and Sunil for box office honours.

Young hero nitin's 'Ishq' movie is currently in its finishing stages of shoot. The audio of this movie will be released by Power Star Pawan Kalyan on 2nd February. nitin himself tweeted this matter in twitter. Nitya Menon is essaying the female lead role of this movie. It has been known that the last song of the  movie was shot at Kullumanali recently.  Currently, the post production work of the movie is going on. Vikram Kumar of 13B fame is directing this movie. The movie is gearing up for release in the third week of this month.

'Rachcha' Preponed, 'Dammu' Postponed!

It seems previous expectations of the release dates of 'Rachcha' and 'Dammu' are likely to be reversed. Earlier, it was expected that Ram Charan's 'Rachcha' would be released in the month of May while Jr.NTR's 'Dammu' would release on 5th April. However, as per the latest developments, 'Rachcha's release date will be preponed for sure while 'Dammu' is expected to be postponed for at least two weeks. Inside sources say that the audio release date of 'Rachcha' has been confirmed on 20th February. The makers are planning to release the movie on 22nd March. As per their analysis, if the movie is released on 22nd, it will get good opening collections due to long weekend, as 22nd is the release day of the movie, 23rd is 'Ugadi' festival while 24th and 25th are weekend days. On the other hand, Jr. NTR's 'Dammu' is going to be postponed for at least two weeks and is likely to be released in the third week of April.

Kareena Kapoor doesn’t get jealous easily. The actress says she is happy and content in her relationship with beau Saif Ali Khan.

Kareena shared her sentiments in a casual tete-a-tete with her friend and “Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu” producer Karan Johar for “A date with Ek Main aur Ekk Tu” – a show to be simulcast Feb 4 on ETC, Zee TV, Zing, Zee Cafe, Zee Studio, Zee Trendz and Zee Khana Khazana.

Johar asked Kareena – “How do you feel when you see Saif in an intimate scene with another hot actress? Say in ‘Race 2′, Saif has a bare-body scene with a Deepika in bikini, what would be your first thought?”

To which, Kareena replied: “I’d be like ‘Wow! How hot Saif looks’,” and added: “I know how he looks bare bodied!”

On a serious note, she said: “I am quite secure in my relationship with Saif and though I don’t want to say too much too soon, I am quite content!”

I’m trying to create new ‘Dabangg’ – Arbaaz Khan

Actor-filmmaker Arbaaz Khan, whose debut production “Dabangg” rocked the box office in 2010, says he is attempting to make its sequel diametrically different from the original.

There is going to be no competition between the two, says Arbaaz.

“When I did the first one, my intention was to tell a story which I believe in…which I was excited about. That is what exactly I am going to take it forward. I have a story to tell but I am not worried about the past,” he said.

“With that sincerity and honesty, if I take care of the script I am sure rest everything will fall in place. I am not competing with the original ‘Dabangg’, but I am trying to create another ‘Dabangg’,” he added.

Arbaaz, who will take the reigns of direction in his hands for the sequel of the action film, is yet to lock locations for the shooting.

“‘Dabangg 2′ is starting in March. I have not finalised my locations. There are couple of locations I am thinking of. But I will finalise them in a short while,” he said.

“Dabangg 2″ will star Salman Khan, Sonakshi Sinha and southern star Prakash Raj. – IANS

Pawan Kalyan Sacrifices for NTR

Power star Pawan Kalyan who usually never interacts with other heroes often extends his helping hand whenever required. This is what exactly happened on the sets of his upcoming film Gabbar Singh. When we go into the details, the makers of NTR's Dammu have planned to shoot a fight sequence and couple of songs on the same location in Pollachi where the shooting of Pawan Kalyan's Gabbar Singh is supposed to shoot. When the makers of Dammu realized that the set is being reserved by Gabbar Singh makers till February 16, they requested producer Ganesh Babu and director Harish Shankar to change their schedule as their film is nearing release.

Eventually, the matter has been brought to the notice of NTR and he personally called up Pawan Kalyan and explained about the difficulty of postponing his film's current schedule since Brahmanandam's dates are unavailable for next one year. Pawan Kalyan obliged NTR's request and gave his nod to use the location. The Young Tiger was once again impressed with the down to earth nature of Power star.

'Devudu Chesina Manushulu' to be launched on Feb 17

Ravi Teja and Puri Jagannadh's new film Devudu Chesina Manushulu will be formally launched on Feb 17th in Hyderabad. Ileana has been confirmed as the heroine. BVSN Prasad will be producing the film with the association of Reliance Entertainment. Raghu Kunche provides the music and this will be his ticket to stardom. 

Says Ravi Teja: "This is my fifth film with Puri Jagan and I am glad to this entertainer. It is going to be pucca commercial entertainer."

Puri promises that the movie would entertain the audiences while producer BVSN Prasad said that the movie would be a trendsetter. "And the story of this film has no resemblance to the 1973 releasedDevudu Chesina Manushulu," producer added.

'Love Failure' music hits on Jan 28

Siddharth's new age love story, Love Failure, will have its music launch on January 28 at Prasads Imax in Hyderabad. Hit music director S S Taman is composing the music and the film's song teasers have already been released on youtube which are attracting huge hits.

New director Balaji Mohan is making the movie while Siddharth also acts as producer for it. Amala Paul is paired up with Siddu in the movie.

Siddharth is confident about the movie's success as its theme and presentation is modern and youthful. The film also releases simultaneously in Tamil.

'Magadheera' Senthil to film Dabangg 2

Telugu Cinema industry's top most cinematographer Senthil is making debut in Hindi in most anticipated sequel to Dabangg . He will be filming Salman Khan's Dabangg 2 as director of photography. 

Having seen his work in Telugu films, director and producer Arbaaz Khan specially asked him to work for this big-budgeted Bollywood movie. 

Senthil Kumar confirms us that he has signed the movie. He was offered many Hindi movies earlier but he could not sign as he was busy filming big budgeted movies here. And finally he is now entering into Hindi films with a massive project Dabangg 2. 

Senthil is one of the highly creative cameramen in India and he is regarded as the best in India when filming movies that have huge CG work.

His work in films like Arundhati, Magadheera and Yamadonga is exemplary. Made debut with Aitey, he shot to fame with Sye and Chatrapathi.

I Miss NTR Dammu Movie: Shruti Hassan

Birthday girl Shruti Hassan candidly said that she was missing Jr. NTR’s Dammu movie. Shruti was chatting to the fourth estate and was sharing some of her thoughts on her film career and other stuff. When asked whether she’s regretting missing out on Jr. NTR’s Dammu movie in which she was originally casted as the heroine “Yes, I’m disappointed backing out of NTR’s Dammu project due to unavailability of dates. I know that I missed out big time but hoping to do another film with him shortly,” said Shruti Hassan. The makers of Dammu initially shot a fight costing 18 lakhs on Shruti but they had to remove the entire episode since the actress was dropped out of the project.

All is well between Manisharma and Taman

Tollywood's filmnagar has been talking about the alleged tiff between music director Manisharma and his former associate S S Taman. Manisharma's trusted directors and producers have now ditched him for Taman. With Taman delivering hits one after the other, even Manisharma's regular directors like Gunashekar have left him. Mahesh Babu who mostly worked with Manisharma gave Taman two films in a row - Dookudu andBusinessman. This reportedly caused the rift between Manisharma and S S Taman.

There were rumors that they are no longer talking to each other. Taman was keyboard player for Manisharma before he took up the job of music direction seriously.

But everything seemed is pretty fine between them as they were spotted bonding well at Maa Music awards in Hyderabad on January 25th. What is more, Manisharma himself presented Best Music director award to S S Taman.

Looks like all the news about the tiff between them are just rumors.

Gopichand Telugu/Tamil bilingual launched

Gopichand is doing his first bilingual movie - Telugu and Tamil. Well-known Tamil director Bhoopathy Pandian is directing a film with Gopichand and it was formally launched on Jan 28 in Hyderabad. Tamil producer Thandra Ramesh is producing the film on Balaji Real Media Pvt Ltd who produced films like Uthamaputhiran and Osthe in Tamil.

The film is simultaneously made in Telugu and Tamil. Director Bhoopathy Pandian said it is an action entertainer that suits the body language of Gopichand well. Dasari Narayana Ra clapped the board and while top director S S Rajamouli switched on the camera for the muhurtham shot taken at Annaurna Studios.

Heroine for the film and other cast is yet to be finalized. S S Taman is scoring the music while M Rathnam pens the dialogues.

Radhika files a complaint on Vishal!

Veteran actress Radhika Sharthkumar has filed a complaint on Tamil hero Vishal (Pandem Kodi hero) at Nadigar Sangam in Chennai.In her complaint she stated that "The actor Vishal is refusing to pay 9 crores and he gave a cheque of Rs.9 Crores which has been bounced.After repeated followups also there is no proper response from the actor".


As per the sources Vishal’s movie ’Vedi’ was released recently and it was a flop movie.Radhika Sarathkumar’s Radaan Mediaworks acquired the distribution rights of this film for Rs 12 crore and she recovered only Rs 3 crore in terms of satellite rights for the movie and the remaining Rs.9 Crores are yet to be given. Vishal gave her a cheque for Rs 9 Crores which has been bounced!

So now Radhika is seeking the help from Nadigar Sangam and Tamil Film Producers Council, to get her money back from Vishal!

Venky's new film Shadow?

We all know that victory Venkatesh and director Meher Ramesh are teaming up for a new project, which is going to hit the floors soon. Now the latest buzz is that the film has been titled as "Shadow", but not yet confirmed officially. Earlier the same title was considered for Pawan Kalyan's film with Vishnuvardan, but later the makers are finalized the title Panjaa for that film.

Now Venky is coming up with the new film titled "Shadow", in which Venky will be seen in a Mafia Don role.Richa Gangopadhyay is playing the female lead role in this project.Paruchuri Prasad is the producer for this film. Thaman will score the music.Noted writers Kona Venkat and Gopi Mohan worked on this movie script and they are happy with the film's script.More details of this project will be out shortly.

Mega producer Allu Aravind’s son Allu Sirish is all set to make his debut in Kollywood with a remake of Telugu hit film Mr.Perfect.Now the latest buzz is the film will hit the floors in March and the official confirmation will be made shortly. Allu Sirish also took training in acting and diction at Mumbai and recently back in Hyderabad.
As per the sources Sirish is on a strict diet for the last few months to get the right look for his role in his debut film.Allu Sirish, who launched the Southscope, a film magazine and recently he sold that Southscope film magazine to a Chennai based media house to concentrate on films.

Nagarjuna’s Damarukam got release date!

King Nagarjuna’s upcoming big budget socio-fantasy film ‘Damarukam’ got the release date and the movie is expected to hit the big screens on April 6th, 2012 on the eve of Good Friday. The makers are planning to en cash the film by releasing the movie in that Holiday week end. The movie has completed its shooting part and presently the post production works and graphics works of the film on progress.

The film has some extensive CGI and special effects, which will be the highlights for the film.As per the sources the film is being made around Rs 30 Crores budget.

Anushka is playing the female lead role in this project.Damarukam is being directed by Srinivasa Reddy and produced by Venkat on R.R.Movie Makers banner.Devisri Prasad is composing the music.

Nag’s Shridi Sai starts from February 2!

Akkineni Nagarjuna’s another devotional film titled "Shirdi Sai" is going to hit the floors on February 2nd, 2012.The first schedule of the film will be shot in a rural village in Karnataka. The movie First Look photos and video teaser was unveiled on yesterday.
Sairdi Sai will be directed by K.Raghavendra Rao and produced by A.Mahesh Reddy under the banner of Sai Krupa Entertainments. MM Keeravani is composing the music for this film. Keeravani already composed the tunes for few songs in the film.Paruchuri Brothers are penning the dialgues and Bhaktha Suresh Kumar provided the story for this flick.

Mean while Nagarjuna is presently busy with the shooting of his new film titled "Damarukam", which will be released on April 6th.

Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor is going to dance on the stage at Apsara Awards event for a popular song Kolaveri Di. The song Kolaveri Di, sung by Tamil actor Dhanush, is a popular song across the nation.She is also going to perform the other south chartbusters like ‘Nakka Mukka’, ‘Ringa Ringa’.The seventh edition of Apasara Awards function will takes place today evening.
The song Nakka Mukka from Kadhalil Vizhundhen, which was included in recently-released Hindi movie The Dirty Picture, and was filmed on Vidya Balan.She would also perform on Ringa Ringa from Telugu film Arya 2.In the Hindi version the song Ringa Ringa was replaced with Dhinka Chika in Salman Khan starrer Ready film, which is a remake of Telugu super hit film Ready.

Akkineni young hero Naga Chaitanya’s new bilingual film (Tamil/Telugu) titled "Gouravam" will be launched on February 25th. Earlier director Puri Jagannadh stated that he is going to do a project with Power star Pawan Kalyan and now the latest news is that this movie is going to hit the floors in May, 2012. This news was confirmed by the Puri Jaganndh through his twitter page, he tweeted that “Pawan kalyan’s project starts from may. Just now finalized,” .


Pawan Kalyan and Puri Jagannadh has earlier worked for the film Badri, now after a long gap the duo teaming up again for this new project. This project will be produced by DVV Danayya on Universal media banner.More details of cast and crew of the film will be announced soon.

Meanwhile Pawan Kalyan is presently busy with the shooting of his under shoot film "Gabbar Singh", which is scheduled for release in April.

Ala Modalaindi fame director Nandini Reddy’s new project was announced long back ago with Siddharth and Samantha in lead roles.Now the latest news is that this project will goes on to floors on February 2nd and the regular shooting will starts from then.The film is said to be a youthful love entertainer.
The movie will be produced by Bellamkonda Suresh on Sai Ganesh Productions banner and SS Thaman will score the music for this flick. More details will be announced shortly.

NBK’s new film title "Kalki"?

Nandamuri Balakrishna, who is currently busy with the shooting of his upcoming film "Adhinayakudu", is soon going to join in the sets of his new project under the direction of Ravi Chavali. NBK and Ravi Chavali’s project is going to hit the floors on February 6 and for this movie the title "Kalki" is under consideration by the movie makers.But it is not yet confirmed and soon will be announced officially.
In this film actress Parvathi Melton is going to pair up with Balakrishna. This movie will be produced by Ramesh Puppala on Yellow Flowers banner. More details are awaited.

Young hero Daggubati Rana’s forthcoming film "Naa Ishtam" has completed the entire shooting part and presently the movie post-production works under progress.Currently Rana is dubbing for his role for the film Naa Ishtam in Hyderabad.Genelia is playing the female lead role opposite to Rana in this film.

Agneepath’s first day collections!

Bollywood hearthrob Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra and Sanjay Dutt starring in the lead roles film "Agneepath" was released on January 26th, which is a remake of 1990 film of the same name.The movie Agneepath has taken an extraordinary opening in its first day and the movie has collected RSs 25.65 Crores on the first day and surpassing the collections of recent blockbusters like Bodyguard and RA.One.


Agneepath has taken the biggest start in recent history in Mumbai city. Salman Khan’s Bodyguard earned Rs 22 crore, superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s mega-budget RA.One made Rs 18 crore on the opening day.

Director Selvaraghvan got married with Geetanjali in July 2011 , after divorcing his first wife actress Sonia Agarwal(7G Brindavan Colony heroine). Now the latest news is that Selvaraghavan and his wife Geethajanli were blessed with a baby girl on yesterday in Chennai.

Naga Chaitanya’s upcoming movie Autonagar Surya is currently being shot in Chanchalguda Central Jail in Hyderabad. Autonagar Surya unit is filming some scenes in the Jail and Naga Chaitanya is seen sporting a tee with 203 number on it…rather interestingly. Autonagar Surya film is an action entertainer set in the backdrop of trade unions in Vijayawada. The film is about a ‘nobody’ who grows into everybody’s identity. Speaking on the occasion, Ram Charan said, “Director Rajkumar Hirani screened 3 idiots for me much before it was made in Hindi. But I thought someone of Aamir Khan’s calibre can do this film rather me since these are my early days in the industry.”  The actor wished the team good luck for the entire team and signed off. Bhakta Kannapa Remake with Prabhas

Yesteryear actor Krishnam Raju said that he would like to remake ‘Bhakta Kannapa’ with Prabhas. Bhakta Kannapa is a 1976 classic starring Krishnam Raju and Vanisree and directed by Bapu. Speaking on the occasion of his birthday, the actor said, “I liked the way Lawrence etched my character in Rebel. My next step will be to wield the megaphone on the concept of growing corruption in the society. The movie not only points out the problems but also addresses it.”

Expounding Prabhas, Krishnam Raju said that he was pretty contended with the way the young rebel star is doing. “I think his career has progressed well than I expected. So I want to remake my favourite movie Bhakta Kannapa with Prabhas but let’s see how things work out”, says Krishnam Raju.

Aamir Khan fails to attend 'Snehitudu' audio launch

Bollywood Superstar Aamir Khan could not attend the audio launch of Shankar's dubbed movie,Snehitudu. Although Aamir Khan agreed to come down to Hyderabad when director Shankar and producers invited him to grace the audio launch ceremony, he could not make it to the function. Ram Charan Tej was the chief guest at the ceremony that was held on Thursday night at Shilpa Kala Vedhika in Hyderabad.

Snehitudu is dubbed version of Tamil film, Nanban , which is remake of Aamir Khan starrer 3 Idiots. The film has Tamil actors - Vijay, Srikanth and Jiva in the lead roles with Ileana as heroine. Music is by Haaris Jayaraj.

Bollywood producer Vidhu Vindo Chopra, Rajkumar Hirani, Resul Pookutty, and Sharman Joshi attended the function. Along with Shankar, the film's hero Vijay, Srikanth, Ileana, Sayta Raj and music director Haaris Jayaraj also graced the ceremony.

Stylish star Allu Arjun responded to reports about his Bollywood entry as reported by certain of media. Fresh reports from production hands say that Mahesh Babu is not essaying the role of a professor but his role would be pretty unique comparatively to his earlier movies. Mahesh Babu was so far seen as a cop, undercover cop, lover boy, etc. and is now looking for some role change. Perhaps Sukumar’s movie could well the one he’s looking for. Mahesh Babu and Sukumar’s combo movie would start shooting in March and Tamanna is playing the female lead.

Ram Charan Racha Release Date in April

Ram Charan’s upcoming action entertainer Rachca’s release date has now been pushed to April. Latest update from the insiders say that the makers are planning to release Raccha movie by the first week of April and not in March as scheduled earlier. While the reason for this postponement is not known, we presume that the makers have taken this decision to ensure that Rachcha does not clash with Gabbar Singh. Moreover, Ram Charan did not have any release in 2011 and he wants to make sure that there aren’t too many obstacles.

NTR Action Movie Launch on Feb 2

Young tiger Jr. NTR’s new movie ‘Action’ would be launched on February 2 it seems. The film is directed by Seenu Vaitla and produced by Bandla Ganesh Babu under Parameswara Arts banner. The regular shooting of the movie will start later in March, 2012. Action movie comes with a tagline ‘with Entertainment’. Thaman who worked for Srinu Vaitla’s earlier movie Dookudu will also work for this Action movie. And Kajal Agarwal will be pairing up with NTR once again after Brindavanam. The makers initially tried to rope in Samantha but she could not accommodate her dates.
