Dammu Audio Songs Release Mar 23
Young Tiger NTR's upcoming movie Dammu audio songs will release on March 23 on the occasion of Ugadi says the buzz. Reportedly, Keeravani has already completed composing tunes for this mass entertainer which is shaping up well under the direction of Boyapati Srinu. Trisha and Karthika Nair are playing female leads and Alexander Vallabha is the producer. Currently, the shooting of Dammu is progressing at fast pace in Pollachi where the unit is filming couple of fights and dance sequences.
No Kannada Debut for Sameera Reddy
As of now hot actress Sameera Reddy maintains that she is yet to sign any Kannada film. The dusky beauty has rubbished all the rumors on foraying to Sandalwood industry. “No, I have not signed any Kannada film. I was misquoted”, said Sameera Reddy bruising aside all the rumors. Sameera’s Tamil film besides Madhavan has got good reports and the actress also has a Bollywood release coming up, and Sameera says that she would like to make her Sandalwood debut. ”My mom speaks Kannada and certainly I feel like debuting in Kannada but I have not finalized anything”, adds Sameera. Balakrishna vs Pawan Kalyan Again
Natasimha Nandamuri Balakrishna and Power Star Pawan Kalyan are trying their luck at box-office once again with a similar role in their forthcoming releases. Reportedly, Balayya is playing the role of a journalist in one of the three characters of his upcoming movie 'Adhinayakudu' while Pawan Kalyan is also playing journalist in his new movie Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu. Playing the role of a journo needs lot of dynamism and with the likes of Balakrishna, who is in mid 50s and Pawan Kalyan, nearing 50s. Soha Ali Khan, Kunal Get 9 crores Gift
Mom Sharmila Tagore has gifted her daughter Soha Ali Khan and soon to-be son in law Kunal Khemu a costly apartment on the occasion of the couple’s wedding. Sources say that Soha has been gifted a new flat worth 9 crores located at the posh Sunder Villa near linking road in the upmarket of Mumbai. Sources reported that each floor of the nine-storied building will be occupied by just one flat and will have an exclusive car parking. Soha and Kunal will live on the top-floor and residents can take their vehicles right up to their respective floors by special erected lifts. The flat is jointly registered in the names of the Sharmila Tagore and Soha Ali Khan duo.
Soha and Kunal Khemu have been dating for the last couple of years since they started working together for movies like Dhoondte Reh Jaaoge and 99. Not so long ago, there was a gossip that Kunal and Soha were secretly engaged and were set to live together but the couple had rubbished all reports saying those reports are baseless. Allu Arjun, Trivikram Movie Story
The story of Stylish Star Allu Arjun's upcoming movie under the direction of Trvikram Srinivas has been doing the rounds. According to filmnagar cricles, Allu Arjun and Sonu Sood are good friends with same aspirations in life, though they have different attitude the plans to become rich instantly is the same. This drives them crazy and Allu Arjun tries to convince Sonu Sood for a mission but the latter fails to turn up. The rest of the story is all about who stands out as winner and who will be the loser. Recently, the unit has shot a bank robbery scene on The duo in a specially erected set in Annapurna Studios. Danayya is presenting the movie, while Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music. Naga Chaitanya's Gouravam in a Fix
Naga Chaitanya's new movie Gouravam to be directed by Radha Mohan is halted, says filmnagar sources. Initially, the makers have planned to launch the film formally on February 25 but it seems the movie might not hit the floors now as Naga Chaitanya wants to secure a mass hero tag first by attempting commercial entertainers. The actor feels that this movie - touted to be a urban love story would cater only to the multiplex audience and has made this decision, says the buzz. Gouravam was supposed to be made on Annapurna Studios banner by Nagarjuna. Naga Chaitanya's last two films 'Dhada' and 'Bezawada' bombed miserably at box-office. An official announcement on this project will be out soon.
Actress Ananya in Deep Shock
Actress Ananya is in a deep state of shock after she broke up with her fiancé Anjaneyan poster her engagement. After coming into limelight that Anjaneyan, a businessman from Thrissur, has already been married earlier, the Malayalam actress broke down and was literally inconsolable. Unfortunately for Ananya, her family came to know about this only after her engagement. Soon, her father approached the Perumbavoor Police Station to lodge a complaint in this matter. Upon further investigation, police have revealed that Anjaneyan married a lady in 2008 and the couple also filed for mutual divorce for which the proceedings are still pending in court. Ananya enacted in only one Telugu film ‘Amayakudu’, apart from playing the leading leady in several Malayalam movies.
Ram Charan Good Enough for Zanjeer
Bollywood director Apoorva Lakhia shocks B town with his candid replies. Recently, the director gave an interview to the media and when questioned on his new project, the remake of Amitabh Bachchan's Zanjeer he said that there are no young action heroes in Bollywood today and he insists that the current Bollywood heroes are a metro sexual lot. At one point, he was looking for a young action hero and it was then he watched Ram Charan's Magadheera which made the director go crazy on the actor. Ram Charan is good-looking and proved his mettle as a action hero down south and that's enough for him to remake this classic with Charan as lead, he says.
Venkatesh’s New Film 'Shadow' in Oz
Victory Venkatesh’s upcoming film 'Shadow' will be soon filmed in Oz soon. Production hands confirm that ‘Shadow’ team will be flying to Australia later this month for filming scenes and songs on Venkatesh and other casting. Venkatesh is playing the role of don in this mass masala flick directed by Meher Ramesh. The film also features Srikanth, Madhurima and Tapsee. Tollywood’s ace writers Kona Venkat and Gopi Mohan have worked on the script for this film, which is produced by Parachuri Kireeti. Victory Venkatesh is currently shooting for the multi starrer film with Prince Mahesh babu 'Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu', directed by Srikanth Addala.

Mahesh Babu, Krish Movie from Aug 9
Super Star Mahesh Babu is set to act in a new movie under the direction of Krish (Radha Krishna Jagarlamudi). Aswini Dutt is going to produce the movie on Vyjayanti Movies banner. Earlier, Mahesh has made his debut as hero with 'Raja Kumarudu' under the same banner. The regular shooting of the film will begin from this August 9, which happens to be the birthday of Mahesh Babu. Initially, the makers have roped in MM Keeravani as the music director but Mani Sharma has been finalized at the last moment. The combination of Mahesh and Mani Sharma has delivered super hit films like Murari, Okkadu, Athadu, Pokiri, etc in the past. Three leading actresses are likely to romance Mahesh in this movie.
Dasari Accquires Allu Arjun’s New Movie
Dasari Narayana Rao has reportedly bought the theatrical distribution rights of stylish star Allu Arjun’s new film directed by Trivikram Srinivas. Sources say that Dasari Narayana Rao, under his Siri Media, has acquired the theatrical distribution rights for AP of this untitled film for a price of around 20 crores. Also, this is a record price for an Allu Arjun film, particularly given the fact that he’s not enjoying a good run in Tollywood. This budget-slashed film is currently being shot in Chennai for climax scenes. Allu Arjun would be seen romancing with Ileana in this movie produced by Rajendra Prasad, presented by DVV Danayya. Devi Sri Prasad is giving the soundtrack.

Mahesh Babu Joins SVSC Shoot
Super Star Mahesh Babu joins the shoot of his new movie Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu yesterday. Currently, a chase is being shot on Mahesh and Ravi Babu in Kutralam, Tamil Nadu. Recently, Mahesh returned to Hyderabad after wrapping up Thums Up Ad commercial in Bangkok. This schedule will commence for 15 days and the unit will move to RFC, Hyderabad in March to shoot important scenes on the lead cast in a specially erected set. Venkatesh, the other hero of SVSC will join the shoot from Feb 19. Samantha and Anjali are playing female leads. Dil Raju is the producer and Srikanth Addala is the director. Mickey J Mayer is scoring the music.
Mahesh Babu joins the shoot of 'Seetamma'

Mahesh Babu joined the shoot of multi-starrer movie, Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu. On Friday (February 16, 2012), he shot for the film at a village near Kutraalam in Tamilnadu. The current schedule lasts there till the month end and Venkatesh, other lead hero, who plays the role of elder brother to Mahesh Babu joins the unit from Feb 19th.
The film is being directed by Srikanth Addala of Kotta Bangaru Lokam fame and produced by Dil Raj. Guhan is handling the camera.
'Devudu Chesina Manushulu' pooja held

Devudu Chesina Manushulu, fifth film in the combination of Ravi Teja and director Puri, had its movie launch on Feb 17th at Puri's office in Hyderabad. Muhurtham scene was filmed on hero Ravi Teja while heroine Ileana could not attend the movie launch ceremony.
Produced by BVSN Prasad and Reliance Entertainment, Devudu Chesina Manushulu (DCM) is said to be an entertaining movie. But Puri says that he would incorporate a card in movie asking audiences to believe in god before watching the movie.
Producer BVSN Prasad said the movie would commence its regular shoot from March 2nd. Raghu Kunche is providing the music.

Currently, producer is chalking out plan for these audio launch events. Music director M M Keeravani, who gave several musical hits to NTR, is said to have come up with songs that would sure top the chartbusters.
Trisha and Karthika are acting opposite NTR in this film in which NTR plays a cop character.
K Vishwanath to be felicitated at Vizag

One of the all time great directors of Telugu cinema K Vishwanath would be felicitated at a special function in Vizag on Maha Shivarathri. He would also be awarded with a title - Viswa Vikyatha Darshaka Sarva Bouma. Known as Kala Tapsvi, K Vishwanath directed several classics in Telugu including Shankarabharanam, Sagara Sangamam and Swathi Mutyam. He is currently busy as actor.
Business tycoon cum politician T Subbirami Reddy will be honoring the great director at a special function to be held at Vizag on Feb 20.
Brahmanandam, Ramanaidu, Bhanupriya, and Shankarabharanam Tulasi and other celebrities would be attending the function.

Siddharth is 32, and he has spent 12 long years in the film industry doning various caps - assistant director, actor, writer, and singer. Now he turns producer with ‘Love Failure’, releasing this weekend. The film got clean U Certificate. He is releasing the film on his own in Andhra Pradesh. Confident about its success, the actor talks about the movie in particular and his career in general.
Suddenly you have become too busy with multiple films on hand!
2012 is going to be an eventful year in my career. Despite not delivering a big hit in the recent years, I have multiple films in three languages. Call it luck, or filmmakers’ faith in my talent, or the love of audiences, I have never been this busy before. A year ago, I thought of slowing down. But my friends suggested me not to be idle and do more films. The plus point in doing more films is that now I have mastered multi-tasking. The downside is that I am not getting time to take holidays. Working round the year. Yet, I am enjoying this phase.
Why producer?
As much as I love doing Telugu films, I also regret the fact that we are not experimenting much. In order to do something different, I thought of producing films. So I registered my banner - Etaki Entertainment. During that stage, I happened to see this short film called How To Mess Up With Loveon Youtube and fell in love with. I was searching for the short film's director and one day when I went to a party in Chennai, I met Sasikanth of Y Not Studios, he told me that he was working with a young director Balaji Mohan who made a short film How To Mess Up With Love. I said I was actually looking for him. And lo, this project fell in place.

What really attracted you to this short film and subsequently to the feature film version of this story?
The protagonist in the film talks to camera directly and does a kind of direct conversation with the audiences. That is entirely novel for Indian cinema. The setup of scenes and characters are simple and life-like. A slice of drama told in manner that we see in international romantic comedies.
The beauty of the script and film is that it is not heavier than it's worth. That is what I liked most.
How tough it was to act in this film where you have to look at camera and say the dialogues where as traditional rule is that actors should not be conscious of where the camera is located?
True, we actors have been taught of not looking at camera when saying dialogues. Though Mass heroes who have larger than life image always mouth dialogues looking straight into the camera, all the actors try to be not the conscious of where the camera is positioned. So working in this film is completely new experience altogether. The director wanted to narrate this way, as it adds empathy to the character.
The budget was tight, we heard...
As I said, we remained faithful to the script. Not went for flashy narrative modes. The story narration itself would be novel experience for us. I always take Aamir Khan as my inspiration. Like him, I went with the script and took newcomers for the most of the characters because the film needs fresh faces, not star actors. The only reason I was in the movie is that it needs a known face that attracts the audiences to draw in. Other than that, I am just the character. We shot the entire movie in both Tamil and Telugu in just two months.
But again, the film is not made in cheap. We spent whatever it needs to be done.
In one sentence, how do you describe the movie?
Love Failure is a small film with a big heart. The other day, someone even commented that it is biggest ever film with small budget, which in fact is a best compliment that I could ask for.

You play a college student in the film?
Yes. After Boys, I got to play the role of a college student with scenes in college campus with this film.
Tell us about the director Balaji Mohan?
This is my 12th year in film industry. And Love Failure is my 10th film with a new director. I am lucky to work with the new breed of directors. It gives great satisfaction that so many young new directors are thinking of me to cast in their maiden film. Balaji Mohan is just 24 years old and studied at LV Prasad Academy in Chennai. He is so lucid about everything. When I asked director Raju Hirani (of ' 3 Idiots' fame) how does he create such perfect scenes, he said: "I see the film in my head even before I film it." Balaji has such clarity. And best part is that he wants to make films that entertain the audiences.
Taman has given melody tunes, completely different from his style. How do you guys bring such tunes from him?
Taman used to play these kind of songs and compositions when I was assistant to Manirathnam and he was with Manisharma. And even during the shoot of Boys (Taman played one role along with Siddharth in Boys), he used to play melodies. But today, he is known for more beat-oriented songs. Anyhow, I am really happy with his success. His journey is awesome. And also happy that he has given music that is true to the script. When we approached with this film, he said he would not let it go, despite his busy schedule. He was so charged up and took it as a challenge.
I also should mention Sri Mani, the lyricist. He wrote so beautifully and trendy. His expressions like Happy Heart Attack are fresh. He is talent to watch out for.
People say that you have bank of your own tunes and great collection of music CDs.
Who told you this? Well, even in my college days, I used to write songs and play them. Music makes me relax. If you ask me, would I become music director in future? Well, I don't know.
Tell us about Amala Paul?
We wanted a simple girl who can converse with her eyes. Remember in all my films, the heroine characters are strong, roles that are etched out well. I saw her Tamil film, Mynaa that was recently released in Telugu as Prema Khaidi, and loved her acting. So I suggested her name and she did well in this film too.
On hindsight, what do you regret?
I regret that I was not born in era when the great directors like Jandhyala and K Vishwanath were making splendid movies. I feel fortunate to be part of this great Telugu film industry, yet I feel sad that we are not making great cinema, we are shying away of making experimental movies.
No doubt, Telugu film industry is the best in India in making blockbuster commercial entertainers. That is why every one from assistant director to big producer in Bollywood now are watching all Telugu films and are reading all the websites to know the latest updates. They want to grab the rights of our movies. That way we should feel proud but the fact is that we are NOT making good cinema.

Will you turn to direction?
I can't deny it, but not now. If I take a gap of more than a year from acting, then you can speculate that I am turning director. As of now I am tied up with six films.
