Legendary Telugu veteran artist akkineni nageswara rao
who made Indian film industry proud with his memorable services is no
more. He died early in the morning hours today at Care Hospitals
suffering with Cancer. The news is officially confirmed by ANR son
Nagarjuna before media. ANR is suffering with deadly cancer diagnosed
very recently. He then organized a family press meet to clear the news
to media people and requested the Fans not to rush for his home
expressing the sympathy. Later on, ANR looked to be in sound condition
attending the shooting of family muti star flick 'Manam.'
Though media speculated ANR's death
nearly two to three weeks ago but Nagarjuna and Sumanth quashed the
rumors. However, they could not stop the sad thing to happen. ANR was
born on 20th September, 1924 in Venkata Raghava Puram and studied only
to class four before entering into films with 'Dharma Pathni.' Now, his
last movie is 'Manam' still to release. ANR enjoyed a complete life of
acting with 75 years of career spanning in different roles. He was an
inspiration and one of the main pillars in shifting the Tollywood from
Chennai to Hyderabad and thus also happened the establishment of
Annapurna Studios. Cinejosh prays for ANR's soul to rest in peace.
