Veteran Tollywood director V. Madhusudhan Rao died today (January 11th, 2012). He was born on July 27th, 1917 in a village Peyyaru in Krishna District.He was 95. He entered into film industry as a director with the film “Sathi Thulasi” in 1959.
V. Madhusudhan Rao was a famous Telugu cinema director and script writer with many successful movies like Antasthulu, Aradhana, Mallepuvvu, Angadi Bomma and krishnaveni. He was also known with the other names MadhuSudhan Rao VeeraMachineni and V. Madhusudhana Rao.He introduced the Akkineni Nagarjuna to the film industry with the film Victory.He was directed a film "Kanchana Ganga" under Usha Kiran movies banner.
He was awarded Raghupathi Venkaiah Award by the Andhra Pradesh Government in 1997.
