Production and Promotion of a movie are two important steps in achieving success or call it in terms of earning profits. Producers need to show expertise in controlling the budget during production and also stay equally competitive in publicizing of their product to see that it gets a maximum reach. One film that is more in news in recent times for bad promotional failure is pawan kalyan’s ‘Teen Maar.’ Of course, some might plead that actors like Power Star do not require any publicity but truly speaking why is it that legends like Big B or King Khan or Aamir Khan too attend the promotion events of their respective flicks? Going by these assumptions, it was producer Bandla Ganesh Babu who needs to be blamed for remaining unsuccessful in lifting the revenues of ‘Teen Maar.’ While critics rated the film as good one and opening collections remained impressive yet the advantage of takeoff wasn’t properly utilized. Now, Power Star Fans are warning the same producer Bandla Ganesh Babu to prepare solid plans and come up with blue prints for promotion activities of ‘Gabbar Singh’ exactly like the themes followed by other star heroes in Tollywood. Let us see, whether he will remain deaf towards the Fans request or not? |

Hat Trick Hero Fails to Ignite BO
Though belonged to Tamil origin, hero Karthi like his brother Suriya is gifted with strong Fan following here in Telugu too. Scoring a good hat trick in Telugu with ‘Yuganiki Okkadu, Awara and Naa Peru Siva,’ his one more flick ‘malli gadu’ is released last week which is of course his debut project in Tamil titled as ‘Paruththiveeran.’ It’s the same film which helped Priyamani to win National Award in Best Actress category. Unfortunately critic reports on the film are positive but collections wise, there seems to be little disappointing figures reported primarily from middle and lower class centers. While the above mentioned three flicks are a good mix of intense emotion along with commercial elements, ‘malli gadu’ lacked in commercial focus. Performances by Karthi, Priyamani and the country side nativity selected are heart rendering yet this film is declared of failing to ignite the BO. Nevertheless director Ameer’s wonderful efforts, superb cinematography are big plus for the film. |
